Newt vs Romney, lets be realistic...

I am sitting in my office, listening to Rush on the radio via Internet. Many thanks to Algore for inventing such a marvelous gadget. Where would we be without the Internet? Enough of that.
The Pundits say Romney is up 7-10% in Florida, Newt won't win. I say we don't know. How in the world do we really know what all these people are going to do when they pull the curtain.
Romney. I just cannot trust the man. Newt is looking at the world thru big glasses. The man thinks big, really big. If Newt where a Democrat, the Mass media would consider him as visionary. He would be the next John F. Kennedy, a man looking toward the future,They would swoon over him, I gaurantee.
I want a President who thinks big, who is not withdrawn because of just of economy restraints. Most politicians want to think little, don't rock the boat.

To consider one of Obama's examples ( he says ), Teddy Roosevelt,"Speak softly and carry a Big Stick". That is Newt. Iran will not test this man, they and all the other wus Islamic Countries will shrink away, fearful of the wrath of the United States, which has been long overdue.....More to come, Mitch

As I sit on this rainy evening it is really dull outside. The scanner is chatting and I am listening to last nights Mark Levin show on the internetm gotta love it.

At this point, which I still think could change, I support Newt Gingrich for President of the United States.
Romney needs to be President, Gingrich needs to serve as President. Big Difference.
Gingrich pledges to Overturn Obamacare, which I favor except for the provision on Medicare Part D which provides for a 50% cut in price on generic meds when in the doughnut hole, which Deanna and I will hit by May 1.
I am a Conservative, but, I also receive Social Security Disabiliity. Even though I am Conservative, The disabled are in the position we are in thru no fault of our own. We worked, paid into the SS System and are gauranteed this provision by law. We have been short changed over the last 2 years, not receiving a cost of living increase, and beleive me the cost of living is really increasing.

Everyone talks about a "New Year", and what it should be. I have been sitting here thinking, I have some wishes for my "New Year".
1. My Darling WIfe Deanna has NO Health Issues and her Fibromyalgia Vanishes.
2. My brother recovers from his stroke and somehow manages to live independtley.
3. Someone, anyone but Ron Paul beats Obama and send him packing.
4. The US Dept of let's screw the Disabled and Retired somehow gives us a 30% Raise.
5. TVA announces a 50% decrease in Electric Bills due to a correction of Errors.
6. Pain Medications, Oxycontin, Hydrocodone, Soma and Xanax are No Longer Cont. Sub.
7. The State of Tennessee Legalizes Medical Cannabis for Cancer and MS Patients.
8. Food Costs at the Grocery Stores are dropped to 1975 levels, Mandatory.
9. Gas Prices are lowered and LOCKED at 1975 levels, Mandatory.
10.Iran, Afghanistan, and all "peaceful muslim" countries become lakes.

The Death of Oscar, My Best Friend

On Thursday Night, Oscar Passed on after a short but courageous battle against lymphoma.

On Thanksging, he was his great self, the Gentleman in the Black tuxedo. I am forever endebited to my Sister in Law, Adeline for taking some fantstic solo photos of him that day. He was sitting up in a chair outside and to look at him, never would have guessed he was termnaly ill.

On Monday, when I got up, he walked as though he was lost. He was afriad to take a step except to walk toward me or Deanna's voice. I had no idea he was blind, even though his eyes had some white spots. On Tuesday we took him to the local vet, a very kindly lady by the name of Leslie. She examined him and found torn retina's, he was blind.

I knew, we could make it thru this. She said at that moment he was in perfect health. He was not even overweight, despite Deanna on me about overfeeding him. We brought him home that day and he seemed to adjust to surroundings. I read up on his condition and everyone said the Bostons are so smart, they will learn the house and do well.

We, Tuesday, I went to the Lodge for a monthly meeting and he started having severe seizures while I was gone, shaking so hard he was suffering, Deanna took him back to vet with him so sick and after pulling blood work, Diagnosed, Lymphoma. Deanna was heartbroken and well as Adeline who went with her. I called Deanna as I was Leaving Chattanooga and she gave me the bad news.

When I got home, Deanna was exhausted. We got ready for bed and his seizures seemed further apart. About 11:30 I heard him seizing and I picked him up and we sat in my chair in the Living Room.

He seized from 11:30 PM until 4:30 PM concastantly, you could not see where one ended and the other started, he fought it so hard. That morning, Wednesday, I had an Doctor Appt and Deanna watched him constantly. More Seizures. I don't know where he got the strength, he had the heart of a lion. All day he fought, with some breaks between. He did get up a little when I carried him out to pee . We put him to bed that night, both exhausted, just wanting to rest.

The Next morning I got up and he was gone, still laying in the same position he laid down in. Rigor had set up but I massaged his leg muscles and was able to lay him on his stomach, head resting on his paws like I had seen him a thousand times. We had to go to Chattanooga so we left him covered until we got home.

My Dear Sister in Law, Adeline and my Brother in Law, Benny, dug his grave while we were gone, so many thanks for so much work. We stopped and bought a strong tote that would allow him to lay on his cover, have his favorite toys with him and then his favorite blanket on top of him. After he was placed in the coffin, it was duct taped over and over, to seal it up. We had to dig the grave about 6 inches deeper to accomadate the coffin.

We are going to check with the local funeral home and see if we can get a small piece of Granite with his name on it.

There will never be another oscar, it would be unfair to compare him to a new puppy, Our hearts ache, But he will always be with US.

I have been very interested in the Republican Presidential Candididate field since Obama was Immaculated.
My interest was really stirred by Herman Cain. Not a Damned Politician, A Businessman, a Gentleman, A guy you would like to sit down to Dinner with!.

Since the rumblings started of "Undisclosed Females" making claims, the Drive By Media has been panting anxiously for more and more. Remember the Eagles song "Dirty Laundry", this is perfect. It has grown to a Painted Lady and then on to #13, you know, 13 long years.

First, does anybody think you could hide an "affair" for 13 years, Yeah Right. I can't even hide who got the last Little Debbie. Maybe it's just my telling looks, Deanna knows me like a book. Being that it surfaced today that a female bodybuilder had to get a Stalking Restraint Order against #13, which way was Herman's Texts coming from.

We have had a Master woman chaser in the White House before, i.e. Mr. Clinton. He brought unknwon amounts of shame upon the Office of the President. When you take an intern into the broom closet and offer her a "Cigar", he sure isn't speaking up on this very important matter is he.

EXCUSES FOR SIGNALS LOST,,WAHHHHH!

Friday was a tough day for Signal Mountain and sunset brought no relief.

The Eagles, and surely you've heard by now, were assessed a six-game penalty for a clerical error Friday afternoon, dropping them from 6-1 to 0-1. Then just when boosters thought things couldn't get worse, Polk County plays perhaps its best and most opportunistic game of the year and hands Signal a 36-35 loss.

Those same boosters might blame it on lack of focus or overall team despondency -- and one assistant noted that the team seemed quite flat -- but this one would have been a good game regardless.

Polk's defensive staff devised just enough aggravations to keep Signal off-balance and the Wildcats knew almost with certainly what was coming depending on the formation and the alignment of either the wing or the single receiver. Too, though, the Eagles' defense has yet to throw Wildcats' running back Chase Mull or quarterback Alex Akins for a loss. They were so focused on Derrick Saxe and, yes, they did do a good job of defending his bread-and-butter plays, but they didn't adjust real well to Polk's deviations from past games.

"I don't think we expected their physicality or the [quick] tempo," Eagles fullback/linebacker Zack Bowman said.

Polk coach Derrick Davis warned his starters in a pregame meeting that Signal had just learned about the TSSAA vacating six wins for playing an ineligible player, and told them the Eagles would likely be mad and frustrated.

"I've been here 12 years now, and we've been beat by some good teams and we have beat some good teams. This has to be among the top [wins]," Davis said afterwards. "There was a lot of Polk County pride and this one, I think the boys believed a little more than I did."

And Signal was quick to credit Polk, from coach Bill Price, who said straight up that the Wildcats outplayed his team, to quarterback Reese Phillips, who said Signal's situation had nothing to do with the game that the Wildcats played.

"We made mental mistakes and we weren't ready to play. Put that on me," Price said.

"The news [of the vacating of wins] affected us a lot," Bowman said. "You go from being on top the bottom, but I think this will eventually bring us closer together."

To put the game in perspective, Price decided to gamble early on a fourth-and-1 at his own 29. It's a cinch for the Eagles, or has been in the past nine times out of 10. This one, though, was the 10th, and the Wildcats capitalized with a score.

Too, with regard to focus -- Polk had three penalties for 33 yards (none in the first half) and one of those was for unsportsmanlike conduct (more on that later) while Signal had nine for 90.

In his postgame meeting with the team, the coach talked with them about learning life's lessons and dealing with adversity and how you dealt with adversity said a lot of you as an individual.

"A lot of things happened that got you down," he said. "They got me down too. You're going to have adversity in life. You have to overcome it. We have two games left for sure so let's make the most of our opportunities."

• Eagles' coaches and boosters are conversing among themselves and naturally wondering aloud which glass house resident -- you know, "People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" -- might have reported the Eagles' oversight.

Signal Mountain administrators were told that several comments were made before or after a TSSAA administrators meeting on Sept. 22 at Tyner, and more than a few folks around town seemed to know a lot about what was going on. Those comments were not made during the meeting, according to what Eagles principal Dr. Tom McCullough says he was told by Patty Lane, his athletic director who attended the meeting.

"We suspected it was somebody in our district, but we're wondering how they knew something we didn't, and then there is the question of the timing," he said.

McCullough said that TSSAA executive director Bernard Childress told him he learned of possible violations at that Sept. 22 meeting. The question from Lane and McCullough to Childress on Friday was if the TSSAA thought on Sept. 22 that there might be a problem then why was Signal Mountain not informed until Thursday, Oct. 6?

Their reasoning was that if Signal had known on Sept. 22 or early on Sept. 23 that there could be a problem, they could have held out the player in question and left themselves with the possibility of having four wins vacated instead of six. The last win of the six that were vacated was a district victory, and had Signal Mountain had even five wins vacated, that last win would have left them with a shot at finishing first or second in District 7-AA and grabbing an automatic playoff berth with three wins against no losses in the district. Now the most they can get realistically is two with games remaining against 7-AA opponents Chattanooga Christian on Thursday and Sequatchie County in the regular season finale on Oct. 28.

• The aforementioned questioning of the timing of the notification may lend itself to some sort of appeal from Signal Mountain with the possibility of getting one or even two of the vacated games returned to the Eagles.

First, though, the school's administrators must decide is whether or not there are enough grounds to ask for a reduction in the number of games vacated. It is apparent from comments made on Friday by McCullough that an appeal to overturn the entire TSSAA verdict will bear no fruit.

If the reduction was the two games that took place after the Sept. 22 meeting, one -- a win over Notre Dame -- will be all they needed to at least have a shot at the playoffs.

• One thing you never expect to see from Polk County or Signal Mountain players is unsportsmanlike penalties. The teams are usually so disciplined, perhaps unwilling to risk their coaches' wrath. Each got one Friday. Polk's was for openly taunting after an Indian defender managed to knock a pass away from Signal receiver Jon Patton (and the same defender also delivered a questionable hit just moments earlier). Signal's was for a running back throwing the ball at a Sequatchie player who tackled him. No room for any of the above, and I'd wager that the offenders will either be running on Monday and Tuesday or sitting for a while Friday night, or both

Signal Mountain HS Gets it's Due

EVERY DOG HAS IT'S DAY

The Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association has notified Signal Mountain High School that its football program is guilty of playing an ineligible player and must vacate all six wins this season.

According to executive director Bernard Childress, two TSSAA assistant directors spent several hours at Signal Mountain High conducting interviews on Thursday. The TSSAA staff met early Friday morning and Childress faxed the official letter of notice Friday afternoon, Childress said.

The ineligible player is 6-foot-2, 240-pound running back/linebacker Tim McClendon, who transferred form Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe during the summer and started for Signal Mountain in all seven games this season.

He will not be allowed to play in any further football games for the Eagles, beginning with tonight’s game at Polk County.

Signal Mountain is expected to appeal the ruling.

How I learned moving to Polk County was the right decision..

Polk County has many advantages that will attract potential residents, Beauty, a slower pace of life, and many more attributes that I have not room to list.

On Saturday, September 10, I witnessed an event that cemented my decision on moving to Polk County.

I had just made my weekly trip to the dump and as I passed the Courthouse, noticed a gathering of people, a podium, and some individuals in suits. I assumed there was going to be a political observance of the 9/11 tenth anniversary, I was to be pleasntly suprised.

As I approached the group, Mayor Stephens was addressing the attendees, marking the anniversary but also announcing this was going to be a Religous Observance with a list of Ministers to speak. Even the Speakers were not regulated as to what they could speak on, they had Freedom of Speech.

On the Courthouse steps, under a clear blue sky, I listened to Minister after Minister, offering up their Thanks to God for our Country and our continued safety from Terror attacks since 9/11. Each Minister spoke from his heart, repeatedly asked for God's Blessings, and Thanked God for our Blessed lives we each live. I was very moved by each and even more by the location.

If this Prayer Meeting, had been propsed in most counties in this State and even Country, it would have been stopped before it started. I can visualize Police Officers being forced by "The Authorities" to remove each Speaker, The Mayor, and the attendees. The ACLU, the Courts, would have moved quickly to shut this down. The co called seperation of Church and State would have been their banner.

I spoke with Mayor Stephens after the event and Thanked him for sponsoring the event, he an elected offical. He told me " As long as I am the Mayor of this City, this observance and many others, will take place on these steps." I voiced my opinion, Even though I had just moved here, the steps, the grounds, the very building belongs to me. Mayor Stephens immediately agreed with me and supported my opinion that no one can prevent us from standing on these grounds, in peacefull gathering.

This is the reason that I know, I made the correct decision moving to Polk County. This County still has the common sense, the realization that citizens, from the poorest to the wealthiest, own this property. It is our Courthouse, our grounds, and if we as a people, gather on these grounds to display our Thanks to God, it is our RIGHT, not a privledge. The Constituion simply says " The Right to Peacfull Assembly" it does not say if some court aggrees.

I applaude Mayor Stephens, the Ministers, and each and every attendee for excercising these beloved rights. The United States of America was founded in these God given rights and God has shown his favor upon this land since it's beginning. If we, as a people, let these rights slip away, or be denied by a Judicial decision, we lose everything. If that day should come to Polk County, and I pray it never does, the Citizens of this County must stand up in defiance and stand our ground. The United States Governement, the current regime, may try to remove God from our public places, but here, in this Beautiful County, we must not allow this to happen.

If we stand our ground here, I pray it will serve as an example to others and bring others to stand up for their rights and to stand up for God.

It's 2:54 AM, Another Sleepless Night and thoughts on it.

Since July, I have been trying to get Seroquel, a medication that in my case helps me sleep.
The Problem is not a greedy pharmacuetical company or The State of Tennessee Drug Task Force Intrusion. It is my Doctor.
I have been on the med for about 3 years. I advised my Doctor I had trouble sleeping, just could not turn off the thoughts in my head. He prescribed Seroquel, which works very well. It is manufactured by Astra-Zenaca and they have in place a patient assistance program that helps when Medicare Patients hit the donut hole because it is expensive, over $ 300 per month.

90 Days ago, or rather 90 days before the middle of July, I had been accepted into the Astra Zeneca PAP and my 90 day supply was sent to my Doctor. As I saw the medication getting to refill levels, I called A-Z and asked what they needed to refill. The advised me of the fax cover sheet, what must be on it, the script and what must be on it, word by word.

I gave my doctor's nurse, or should I say slave, the list. She does everything but wipe his Ass as it is and he keeps adding more. Anyway, when I did not receive it in the regular time I called A-Z, he did not fill out the cover sheet as I said, He did not see why they needed it. Again I told them, here is what is required. He calls the A-Z program and asks if they want all this, answer yes.

Well, today I checked on the meds with A-Z, something was left off the script. This is Aug 17-18. I emailed the Damn Doctor again withe what MUST be on the Fax. The last Fax/script he screwed up on 8/9 expired in 24 hours when the Doctor's Office would not return phone calls to the PAP. The PAP was trying to fix the problem over the phone to expedite to script, but the Doctor's Office never called them Back.

That is why I am up at 3 o'clock in the morning because my Doctor will not fill out a Damn piece of Paper he should have done right 45 days age.

As I write today, so much has changed. We do not live on Signal Mtn anymore. We have moved to Polk County, the county seat is Benton. We are in the farthest to the right and bottom of the State, Bordering on Georgia and North Carolina.

Now, I want to make something very clear, I am more involved and concerned about "stuff" than ever. National, State, County or City and neighborhood issues, I all observe. I am still going to post to Chattanoogan.com as ever. They will probably say I don't have a right since I am not there , but I am probably not going to say.

Obama is Having Birthday Parties while the Nation is Burning, Like Nero was fiddling while Rome burned. This man is so inept, he has not a clue 1 , or this is his master plan to run the Govt into the Ground and then somehow say he will say it with another 4 year term, Bullshit.

The Plight of the unemployed, the peoples who have simply quit looking for a job is truly being estimating by those not influenced by the Govt to be close to 20%. Social Security Disability Recips like myself are scared to Death. We fear not only that we are again not going to receive a cost of living increase, but we could and will probably see cuts in Medicare and our monthly pentience.

This is really far than my worst fears 20 years ago. I never thought I would see the day when my family's entire exsistence depends on the whims of a bureacrat in Dc who has no idea what is real.

You cannot go to work, that is wrong, even if you could. Big Brother wants us to suffer. As Anthony Hopkins so properly said in "Legends of the Fall"

"Screw Em".

Well, My Appt on 6/13 was a trip to remember. I already had blown one visit on 6/6 about the pain in my left flank. Todays visit I reported to Dr A that it had moved into the right as well and was keeping me up. Well, when I asked for breakthru pain help, he screamed for me to quit smoking and I would feel better. He sends me into another room and I blow into a plastic pipe connected to a computer. The Nurse says I have the lung function of a 99 year old man, no kidding. Back to the Dr, He goes and looks up MS HUG on the Computer and finds out it is real. Most folks ready the description may or may not have insurance, they reccomends stuff like alleve and so. I have been on Narcotics for 21 years, do they really beleive an over the counter will take care of this. He gace me a script for Predizone, I am taking it, but that was all he gave.. What a crock.

I know I need to quit smoking, you do no have to beat the hell out of me to know it.

I will do it, just to spite him, screaming like an idiot.

A Case for going armed, permit carrying and legal, save a life

I have caught flack in regards to an incident of Frazier in the middle of the night when I had to display a weapon. Some even insinuated it would have been better for the community if I had been killed, since I carry a weapon. Now, on Big Fork Road, three people lost there lives because they could not defend themselves.

An armed concealed carry permit holder could have possibly prevented these deaths. Three shots through the windshield from a 45 would have cured the problem. Ramming the Jeep would have been considered a life-threatening action, period.

I feel so deeply for the families. Mr. Meeks will get what he deserves. I hope every day in prison, when he is some 300-pound prisoner's girfriend by force, that the wreck is played in slow motion in his mind. Good bye, Mr. Meeks.

It is essential that the law-abiding citizens be armed in this day and time. You, the reader, could encounter the same situation anywhere. Someone is mad at the Walmart parking lot, you got my space. At the mall or anywhere crowds gather. I hope one day you can carry conceal at a high school football game. Not to be macho or such. The mere fact you might be able to stop some idiot from killing you, a loved one or a stranger that you could protect. I know the fur is going to fly about this, but stop and think about the three people that were killed and how they might, just might, have been saved before you start typing. Remember, in that moment, the police, the laws against assault, or your general dislike for guns are not going to help you. Hopefully, someone will step in to aid you. One of us gun carrying, religion clingers, Tea Party members will defend you.

Well, I just returned from a dreaded trip to the grocery store. I think Mayonaise is made from crude oil. $ 5.69 for Hellmans. Everything is going up, let me make you a short list.

1. Corn Up 100% = this year so far. There goes the Cornbread. SIlos are reported to have the least backup inventory , ever.

2. Sugar, same price, just 3 lbs for the same price as 5, that is what 60%

3. Beef, Forget

4. Pork, used to be reasonable, not now.Organic Bacon, $ 8.99 lb, what the Hell ia an organic Pig, they are a Pig.

5. Obama wants to add a $ 1.00 per gallon tax thru EPA.

6. Any Cereal, All Grains, straight up.

7. Let's not even mention gas.

8. Cooking Oil, Granola Oil. Last year 1 QT was $ 1.29, now $ 3.99

9. Ice Cream, same price but if you hold the carton sideways, 2 inches thick, a Trick

10. Deodorant, Don't know why, regular can Arrid Extra Dry was $ 1.69, now $ 4
I guess we will be like the French, take 1 bath a week.

The MS HUG is not out of affection

After I went to my Dr to determine what was the source of the pain/snapping/rubber band stretching/weird stuff going on in my left flank, I really did not get help.

He sent me to get a CT of my Kidney to make sure I did not have a stone. Well, Of course, no stone. The tech at the CT said I was free to go. I drive back to the DR's office and see my nurse at the counter. Then I asked, what now, I need something for breakthru pain. She goes back to the Dr and he offers a script of Mobic, a sronger version of alleve.

I have Multiple Sclerosis. Why will people not listen. Alleve is like an M&M. It is not my fault that my Neuro started me on Narcotics 21 years ago. I take Oxycodone 40 mg ext every 12 hours. Quite frankly, it is not that great. I am not a raving drug fiend searching for my next fix. I take it as directed. I am not DUI, I am not Public Drunk, I am not even high. I have read in several MS blogs from other patients, their dr's give them meds for break thru.

The only explanation must be he is so scared of the TBI which monitors drug scripts out of Nashville. He is scared of an audit, investigation or something. If I as a Dr has been following the "LAW" as required, I would not fear an audit..

I feel as though I am paying the price in pain because of his fear of these people. This is not how it is supposed to be. The Patient comes first, period. If you can provide relief even to a MS patient, which he said he could not make pain free, maybe he needs to re-evaluate his desire to be a Dr.

I am the patient, in need. I beleive he took an oath to help me, Government be Da----.

Something New kicking my Butt, Illness

For the past couple of weeks, I started noticing a weird feeling in my lower left side. At first it has came and went, with no real pattern. It has gotten worse over time and know has developed into a steady gnawing in my lower left side and back.

My father had kidney stones and later had to have his right kidney removed. The reason was "Kidney Disease". I was very young at the time and don't remember much about it. I do remember that dad had a scar from navel to backbone, he was cut in half.

I have read up on what this might be and first thing in morning I am calling the doctor to get it, asap. It might be a stone, or even worse some type of infection, don't know. The water pills I take for retention also can cause stones.

Wish me luck, I don't need another problem with MS riding on my shoulders.

Never to Eat in Downtown Chattanooga AGAIN !

On Saturday myself, my wife, and several family members attended the Sequoyah High School graduation at the Tivoli. We had a wonderful time and I was very proud of my granddaughter as she walked across that stage.

After the event was over, we all agreed to have dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings. My wife and I have not eaten in the "new and improved" downtown Chattanooga in many years. Everything was crowded, people walked in crosswalks when the signal said no. In general trying to negotiate the area was a zoo, but my comments on all that are reserved for a later date. I had never been to Buffalo Wild Wings but had heard great comments and looked forward to a great time. My son, who was driving a suburban and I, my Ranger XLT, decided to let them out at the front and then go on the quest to find parking. Surely with a new and vibrant downtown planned the city fathers had planned on parking for the patrons they hoped to attract.

We rode around for about 15 minutes and as I was turning right on Cherry from First, there was a new condo building on my left and the street was at least 2.5 vehicles wide. There were several cars parked there on the curb and I saw a no parking sign about 25 foot from the corner. It was on Cherry, facing 2nd. I assumed it meant not to park on that corner. As I was looking, a young couple came out of the heavily fortified entrance to the condo. The went to a Jeep Cherokee and as they were getting in I asked if I could park there. They advised no problem. I parked my truck in the exact spot they were in, with about 15 other vehicles in front of me on Cherry. I locked the vehicle and walked down the hill and joined the 20+ people in our party.

After a great dinner, I told my wife to wait and I would come pick her up, there was no need in both of us burning every calorie we had just taken in. As I approached the truck and spotted a small yellow envelope on my windshield. I opened it and it was a parking ticket. There was a vehicle behind me on the other side of the sign, on the corner of Cherry and 1st, no ticket there. I hate to admit I had a meltdown. I am sure the tenants in the fortress heard my extremely loud voice of dissatisfaction.

Also, while I am on the subject, does the city of Chattanooga not have any yellow paint? Why not paint the curb? I walked up to a couple coming out of the next door fortress and asked if I could use their cell phone to call my son, I wanted his camera to document the sign placement and such. These folks were scared to death. I guess being out of the fort they felt vulnerable. Next thing they knew a rather large 6 foot 2 man walks up to them and asks for their cell phone.

The man said he was going to the car and the lady made a comment to me. She said, "The city made that no parking for us, that way we don't have to be careful pulling out." That really spoke volumes. The fortress selling point was you would not have to deal with the commoners in downtown. Let them eat cake.

Now to the real catch 22. I received this $11 ticket May 14. If you pay after May 21 it is $46.50. If you want to go to court to fight, court date is June 17. So, if you disagree, the price goes up way before you go to court. Everyone I know says "just pay the ticket and forget it." I am tired of getting ripped off. I think I could beat this ticket. But, if the judge does not listen, is tired, or just having a bad day, guilty $46.50 plus court costs.

Chattanooga has tried to lure restaurants, invested millions in tourist attractions and advertisements. But, they have also laid traps to increase their revenue. Every year, when the budget is written, they include money from parking tickets. They depend on it. They want it.

I am still in the decision making mode about all this. It's not the $11. It is the fact they have made a street more attractive to the potential buyers in the fortress. I really want to go to court and try to expose the fact that the city is pandering to a select group of well to do people.

I will not go back and patronize any business in the new and improved downtown Chattanooga. All of my fellow readers/contributors can have it. I welcome feedback as to what I should do. Go fight or grab the ankles.

We would have done much better at Burger King on Signal Mountain Road and parked without fear of government intervention.

Even before the lots at UNUM went to pay lots controlled by Republic Parking, parking stunk downtown. However, there are plenty of places to park within walking distance of Buffalo Wild Wings and every other restaurant in that area. The parking structures on Broad Street, the lots next to the Aquarium, the UNUM lots. All of these locations offer parking for a fee. Sure, you might have had to walk a bit further than you'd like but, I'm willing to bet a little exercise wouldn't have killed you.

Just because you refused to do as those of us that spend time downtown on a regular basis have had to come to grips with does not give you the right to park illegally. The last time I did, I received a ticket as well. I didn't like it but, I got it and had to pay it. So you can do one of two things. Stick a crowbar in your wallet and pay a few dollars to park at one of the many lots right across the street. Or stay on Signal Mountain in your ivory tower and gripe about how you've been treated unfairly for a little $11 parking ticket that you could have avoided.

Of course, it would hopefully gotten you more than a parking spot, I think we’d all be safer with you off of the streets. I agree that the parking situation has become frustrating with everything moving to pay parking but if you don’t like it, don’t come downtown. That simple.

Thank you for visiting to our beautiful city and spending your dollars with our downtown businesses. We really do appreciate it. Our thriving city is no different than any other thriving city in the fact that there are a lot of people are present. As already stated, there is plenty of parking available in a number of places at very affordable rates.

We are a growing city and crowds of people and parking issues come with the territory. Personally, I get excited every time I go downtown and see all the people. I remember a time when downtown Chattanooga was an unsafe place to visit. That's all changed and I am very proud of our city.

Look at the bright side - had you parked in the lot belonging to Cheeburger Cheeburger, Genghis Grill and Vaudeville Café, it would have cost you $250.00 in tow fees in addition to your bill at BWW.

Downtown is a great place to work, shop, visit, eat, drink and enjoy. Grab the ankles my man, you ain't gonna win this one.

On a side note, all the media attention I received regarding towing has greatly curbed the amount of discourteous people parking under the 20+ no parking signs in the previously mentioned lot.

A Open Letter I wrote for Laura's Graduation

What changes your life ?

Deanna and I were in our mid thirties when the glorious news came that Beth, Philip’s wife was going to have a baby. Becoming Grand Parents in your thirties is hard to wrap your mind around. Being that my Grand Parents were late in life when I was born, I thought all Grand Parents were grayed, very wise about all things and above all, had a Grand Mother’s house. It was also a must that a Grand Mother wear an apron, the mention of that to Deanna did not go well.The last must have, all Grand Kids have a Grand Mother’s house. It has to be on a farm or a least look
“ Country “, wooden framed, with a barn to explore and such. When I spotted the home in Loudon while Deanna was in Chattanooga that day, it was a “Grand Mother’s House”. I signed the paper that day and bought it while she was gone.

Don’t misunderstand, we were thrilled. Deanna went into a “nesting” mode. She decorated a room for the new baby at our home. The rest of the house was transforming, with a Teddy Bear here, another childlike decor item there, until the whole house was just so for the arrival of this wonderful new gift God had chosen to bring into our lives. Then she started on Philip and Beth’s home. There had to be wallpaper borders, the crib in a certain position, plenty of the best Battenburg linens you could find. I could walk thru the house and move a pillow a half an inch and her watchful eye would know it.

September 28 finally arrived. We rushed to Chattanooga from Loudon, breaking I am sure several Speed Limits on the way, we simply could not be late. We waited and waited, and did I mention waited. Finally, Laura was born. I remember when we were allowed into the room after the birth, Deanna holding Laura for the first time. It is impossible for me to put into words what I saw then. Deanna was cradling the baby in her arms and she simply glowed. People that know us both rarely find us speechless, but this was it. I will never forget the look of absolute joy on Deanna’s face. A baby so perfect, created by the almighty, was nestled in her arms. When it came my time to hold her, I did not know about babies. In my mind they they were like a piece of fine china. I was a wreck, was I supporting her neck right, enough pressure on the bottom, is she upright so she can breathe, what am I going to do wrong that will injure this perfect child ? But, I did not break her and looked deep into her eyes knowing something that I had read was now true. An author, whose name I cannot recall once wrote,” When you meet your Grand Child at birth look deep into their eyes. You have just met the person who will be holding your hand and looking into your eyes with immeasurable Love when it is time for you to pass on.”

The years have passed and the Birthdays, Christmas Celebrations, and other family events have come and gone. We have witnessed Laura grow from a baby thru the adolescent years, the freckles, and seeming to grow and inch every time we looked at her. The years have passed too quickly. We have pictures scattered thru the house of Laura growing up but they are simply moments frozen in time. Our minds have to fill in the blanks. One of my cherished memories is that when we lived in Loudon, we were probably 100 yards from a Norfolk Southern main railway line that had been used since the Civil War. We had the Grandmother’s House required Porch Swing and Laura and I would spend countless hours watching the trains go by. She was small enough that “safety first” me would always keep a hand on her stomach, fearing she would fall out. Every, and I mean every train that came by received Laura’s greeting. “High Train” when it appeared and “Bye Train’ as the last car went by. When it was time to go in, way after dark, she did not want to go, still waiting for the next train to appear.

Laura gave us both a precious gift when she was very young that has endured the years and will last forever. Soon after learning to say her first words, Deanna became “Nana” and I was named “Papa” The names have endured over the years and were passed down to each Grand Child. We Thank Laura for this and will always cherish it. Every time I am called Papa, I think of Laura giving me such a wonderful name. Deanna and I wear these Badges of Honor proudly and will keep them forever, regardless how old the Grand Kids are, there will always be a Nana and Papa’s house to come home to.

Fast forward thru the years. While excelling in Formal education, Laura was studying with a purpose. She has been called by God to work as an Missionary. She has already traveled the world to countries that her Nana and Papa can only imagine. She has spread the Good News about Jesus Christ everywhere she has been. She has been a strong Christian Force in our lives and guided us toward the knowledge that we must find the Church we had been searching for. We both now go to Sawyer’s Missionary Baptist Church and we know it was God Almighty working thru Laura that opened our eyes that the Power of Prayer is multiplied 100 fold when praying and worshiping with our Church members. Thank You Laura, Papa finally listened.

I have a video that was taken in Columbia, South Carolina.Mark was graduating from Basic Training in the Army and we drove down to see him graduate. Laura was still a toddler, maybe 3. I had the video camera out, filming everybody getting ready. Laura was all dollied up by Nana, with a beautiful Bow in her hair. She was laying across the bed on her stomach, still sleepy after all the work she had been thru. I was filming and she slowly raised her head, looked straight into the camera and simply said with a smile, “ I am sleepy Papa “ and her head went straight down back into the pillow. To this day, I still see this sleepy headed Doll-Baby.

The years have passed and now we celebrate the Graduation of Laura from Tennessee Temple University. The toddler fishing for moles, taking kittens out of the Garage as fast as we could put them back is all grown up.

We will not lose our cherished memories, any of them. We proudly face the future, a New Chapter in Laura’s life. What memories and moments wait us there, only God knows. I know with God directing her life, she will be wonderful. The future is a mystery yet to be unfolded and your Nana and Papa will be with you all the way thru this great journey.

Obama re-election trip to TEXAS, ON OUR DIME

The public relations campaign for President Obama's latest revival of "immigration reform" makes one thing crystal clear: This is not, and never has been, about homeland security. This is not, and never has been, about economic security. It's about political security, plain and cynical.

In conjunction with Tuesday's renewed White House push in Texas for a "new pathway to citizenship" for millions of illegal immigrants, disgruntled Latino activists are ratcheting up their radical anti-enforcement rhetoric. Illinois Democratic Rep. Luis Gutierrez -- a persistent critic on Obama's left flank -- lambasted federal workplace enforcement raids this weekend. On Sunday, he repeated his hyperbolic attacks on homeland security agents "terrorizing" neighborhoods and ripping babies from the breasts of nursing moms. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano made no public effort to defend her employees.

On campuses across the country, unhappy ethnic college student groups have turned up the heat on Democrats to resurrect the "DREAM Act" nightmare for the 12th time in a decade. The legislation -- persistently rejected by a bipartisan majority on Capitol Hill -- would provide illegal aliens (not just teenagers, but students up to age 35) federal education access and benefits, plus a conditional pass from deportation and a special path toward green cards and U.S. citizenship for themselves and unlimited relatives.

Obama argues that his comprehensive amnesty plan would boost America's bottom line. But the open-borders math doesn't add up. The Congressional Budget Office score of the last DREAM Act package estimates that "the bill would increase projected deficits by more than $5 billion in at least one of the four consecutive 10-year periods starting in 2021." And that doesn't include the costs of the unlimited family members the millions of DREAM Act beneficiaries would be able to bring to the U.S. A separate cost analysis by the Washington, D.C.-based Center for Immigration Studies concluded that the illegal alien DREAM Act bailout would cost taxpayers $6.2 billion a year and "crowd out" U.S. students in the classroom.

To help gloss over those sobering realities and blur the lines between legal and illegal immigration, Obama summoned Latino celebrities such as actresses Eva Longoria and Rosario Dawson. The starlets -- deemed important "stakeholders" in the immigration policy debate by the celebrity in chief -- have served as glamorous distractions from the vocal complaints of Southwest governors, ranchers, farmers and other victims of continued border chaos. These are the real stakeholders whose lives and livelihoods are at risk. But none had a seat at the Hollywood-filled table.

The Government In The Gas Can

First, I cannot express my sorrow to the victims of all the tornadoes and straight line winds the area suffered Wednesday. This comment in some ways effects all those trying to get by with generators and such.

Yesterday, I went to the local chain hardware store to purchase a new two gallon gas can. For years they have averaged $4.99 or so. When I found the display, a two gallon can was priced $9.99. I was shocked first and then noticed plastered on the front a big sticker "EPA Approved."

Here's the deal. The can now has a "spill proof" plastic valve that you have to depress to allow fuel to flow. When you release this wonder it stops the flow. Here's the catch that one of our EPA wizards did not notice. When you realize the tank is full and you need to stop the flow, there is still gas trapped in the plastic provided spout. If you are close to full, the spout runs it over. The old design you simply leaned the can back and did not spill any gas.

As usual, the EPA has probably spent untold amounts of money to try and improve a product that has existed for years. There was probably even a lab mouse involved in this study.

Also, if you happen to be arthritic, you can't open the stupid valve with one hand.

I know in light of the tragedy that surrounds us this is small, but to those that are buying such cans by the hundreds for chain saws and emergency equipment, the EPA is in your wallet.

Can't these people just leave us alone?

First, Bin Laden is Dead, Nay Seal Team Six blowed him away after years of searching. I congrat George Bush, Obama simply had the tools already at work. Glad the Man is Dead and Gone to Hell, Over.

On April 27, Tornadoes simple clobbered the area, with Death and Destruction. Ringgold Ga is almost off the map. People have no jobs and also most local jobs are gone. It is will be YEARS before these area's have any part of normal back. Prayers to all passed , injured, and without anything.

It seems all of us have our "after hours" story to tell about "North of the Border" encounters, here's mine.
My wife was in Erlanger recently with a 4 day butt kicking infection and I was in and out of the hospital at odd hours. Depending on the time
you encountered all types of folks, ranging from simply unknowing to predators on the prowl. I am not talking just about Coolidge Park but the bleed-over from it's boundries

The 7 AM to 3 PM group is mostly tourist, walking around with their heads in the clouds, with no comprehension of what danger lurks around them. They walk with pocket-books loosely secured, looking at their surrounding like they were in New York City for the first time. Easy Pickings for snatchers and such. During this time frame you do have the locals, eating lunch, rushing about their daily lives. I think some of the locals even buy the Chamber of Commerce ads that everything is good.

From 3 PM to 10 PM there is still the tourist groups, wanting to experience the "Chattanooga Night Life !". They appear to be somewhat more safety aware, but now there is a seperate split. The true "North of the Riva" bars and such and the more upscale "South of the Riva" establishments. The North of the River "NOR" is more Head Shops, and even the patrons of the area have a different appearance. Not taking a bath for a few days is in style, or at least not washing your jeans anyway. Tatoo shops, Piercings of various body parts(OUCH!), and more Avant Garde, Bohemian looks are in style. The Chattanoogan homeless community seem to favor NOR over SOR greatly. While sitting at Traffic lights, I witnessed a few homeless/over indulged thrown out of Bars. Nor has real Bars, you know, not very big, no flashy signs, just a neon Bud or other brand in the window and a front door.

From 10PM to 2AM. NOR:I stopped this group at 2 AM for a reason. Alot of the what you would call "classic" hole in the wall bars close about 2 AM. If you are coming Frazier about that time, it is a site to behold. It's like somebody opened up the drunk tanks at Chattanooga PD to early and all at one time. All these drunk, dirty, hairy, peope with no real destination in mind are cut loose. It is worth pulling over to the side (doors locked, vehicle in gear) just to watch. Some walk/fall down the steps going towards Coolidge Park, others head across the Walnut Street Bridge. I am glad they have a high railing on the Walnut Street Bridge, they would be fishing people out all the time. SOR: being that SOR businesses are fanchises and such, they have have regular hours. When passing thru at this time, the employees are making a bee-line to their cars. What I have witnessed the SOR patrons, even though loaded, leave the area. The streets are cleared pretty quick.

From 2AM to 7AM. In NOR, this is the time NOT to be on Frazier. I had left Erlanger at 3:30 AM, to go take a nap, get a bath and come back. I have a Hand Gun Carry Permit. When I left Erlanger, I laid the weapon in my lap, safety off. I crossed the Veterans Bridge which had 3 groups of 3-4 subjects each in them heading toward Frazier.Turning left on Frazier, I noticed one group of 5 subjects standing next to the side of a convenience store, and of course there is a light there. I was stopped in the center lane. I had my weapon now in my right hand, still in my lap. A late model Chrysler 300 with large rims pulled up next to me on my right side. A subject got out of the pasenger side and stepped towerd the front of my vehicle. He had a Hoodie on and both hands in his pocket.I turned my interior light on, pointed my weapon in his direction, swerved to the left, ran the next 2 red lights and never looked back. The reason I am telling this story is 1, I am not Dirty Harry but 2, If in danger as trained during my Handgun training, I will use the weapon if threatened.

If my observances during a few days on Frazier are as such, I can just imagine what Coolidge Park is like during the day and after sundown. I heard Mayor Littlefield on with Jeff Styles the other morning. He still maintains that the shootings and violence in Chattanooga are because the children are not trained well and all this hooey. He was blaming the parents. I don't give a Rat's Behind who did or did not train these children. They are semi adults now and subject to the LAW, let's get on with it.

The Chattanooga Police Dept needs to be unleashed and be allowed to do their job. These groups of thugs standing around after dark NOR, are there for one reason. They had picked me out as being alone, traffic was perfect at the time, and using their 2 way communications on their phones, set up a robbery on me. The fact that I had a weapon into the mix stopped them. Let me assure, if one had tried to pull my door open, even at gun point, I would have taken action. More citizens need to carry their weapons proudly, on their hip, as stated by law and some of there "thugs" might have second thoughts when they are out gunned and out trained.

As we get older (oh no, not me) when we can reach out across time and miles and say what was left unsaid is important. I recently connected thanks to Facebook with a friend I had not spoken to in almost 40 years. 40 years is a very long time. But in some ways, not that long. Even with my MS I still have memories of that person, a new 1973 Camaro, and how as teenagers we were very typical kids. It is amazing that over time, what you have done as a teenager, comes to mind. With MS I can't tell you what I did last week but 40 years is available, weird. How perhaps you did not say the right words before moving on. You don't say those words now, thats crazy talk. What works is to reach out , connect, and say you were sorry. Life is so grand, and yes I say that with all the problems I have had. I have a wonderful (there are not words to describe) wife who is amazing in her devotion to me, great kids and of course 6 grandkids who just simply blow my mind. All they have to say is "please Papa" and the melting is complete. But going back to my subject. You must appreciate what lives others you have known have lived so far. Be joyful with them in their success and sad with them in disappointments. I don't mean to sound so wise about connecting with other, just a suggestion. In todays interconnected world, If you find a person who you mistreated in your actions, reach out and be a friend. You cannot undo what has been done, but in your older wisdom (Older?), you make a snile come across faces you have not seen.

MS, needing scripts, and the Insurance Co's telling us what to take.

As I write this, it is 11:30 at night, wy, because I can't sleep.

Beginning in January, I knew it was a new year on my Part D provider, Humana, and with dread, wondered what obstacles lay ahead. I have not read the 2700 page Obamacare Bill and do not know what provisions lay in wait for those of us on Medicare Part D.

Problem 1. I have been on Lyrica for over 2 years. It is a wonderful drug marketed by Pfizer. It is for Neuropathic Pain, Diabetes Nerve Pain a dn Fibromyalgia. I take it for the Neuropathic pain which is where let's say your arm has a point that hurts really bad, down deep, where you can't reach it. I have news for you, your arm is fine, the pain is in the brain from damage there. You can rub it, beat on it and do anything you please, no difference. Lyrica eliminates it in the brain, works great. I had been receiving Lyrica from Pfizer direct, in a program designed for those of us who have a limited income. Effective 12/31/10, I had to re-emroll for the program and therefore had to get a script filled locally until it went into effect. i received the script and took it to my pharmacy, Signal Mountain Pharmacy, a locally owned excellent pharmacy, walk in with a script and walk out 5 minutes later. CVS, takes forever and prefers you drop them off the day before, bad service.

I took the Pfizer apps with all requires papperwork to my doctor in January, wanting to get approved as soon as possible. In this case my Doctor dropped the ball. I printed off a sheet for him to fill out and he did not but mailed it anyway, same on my wife. I pasid $ 70.00 copay for one script for me and per the Pharmacist, Deanna and I should share until the Pfizer program meds are which should pretty quick. 2 weeks later, my app comes back with the page the doctor did not fill out. 2 weeks later Deanna's comes back the same..

The problem is the doctor's office is overrun with apps just like mine, causing errors and delays.

#2, The Biggie. I take a strong script fo MS pain, period. This year in Jan when I walked in with the script, it could not be filled, Humana said to call. I called and they said I had to try some alternatives first. Great. First option Codiene. Codiene in the PDR is described as a mild to moderate pain releiver.

Compare to what I was taking, M&M's were as good. after 2 weeks of agony, Humana says, Morphine Sulphate. Well, Morphine has a long list of side effects. For the last two weeks I have been week, had Insomnia,(like now) nausea, and other pleasant problems.

Today, I visited the doctors office and had to have them a excemption form for my regular med, explaing that this is not working. I am going to call these people tomorrow and hopefully get approved. This is Feb 15. 45 Days after this started.

I have MS, it is documented. Why, should I be expected to be a Gueina Pig at my own pain and expense so that some bureaucrat can sit at his desk and make oblect decissions about something he knows nothing about.

This is what is coming with Obamacare, patients waiting for a decision, suffering, for no good reason.. Be afraid

Life's changes we don't want

Deep down inside, regardless of what we learn in Church or from the passing and changes in our relatives, we think we are going to stay like we are right now forever.
Today, a very dear friend of mine, a man who has replaced my Dad in my heart since Dad died, had to go to a Nursing Home. It was not because he had dementia, or could not care for himself at all. He is in his mid 70's and recently did fall and crack some vertabre in his back.

It was for his own good, so he doesn't fall again and help him get his diabetes in control. We hope his stay may be temporary, that he can lose some weight and improve his health, that would be great.

I still have to get my mind around the idea that he is getting older as I am also. My balance is bad, ny MS seemes to be getting worse, time marches on.

Only God knows what is ahead for us all and we must trust him and accept what he provides. AMEN

I heard this morning on FOX NEWS, as I watch every morning, that some disability insurers are checking BLOGS, FACEBOOK, and other networking sites to see what us disabled are up to.

Well, I am using proudly my First Ammendment Rights ! I speak what I beleive to be the truth. I still have a cognitive skill to have opinions. I WILL NOT be silenced or CENSORED by any threat of not being Politically Correct and drawing attention to myself, under threat of being examined and words studied.

"THE TYRANT & THE TEA PARTY
When President Obama took office the “change you can believe in” was finally exposed to be just another name for tyranny. Spontaneous demonstrations of concerned patriots sprung up to protest the assault on our freedom. The tyrants were not very concerned; surely a huge majority would understand the advantages of security and unearned income over the freedom and the prosperity of Capitalism. Certainly, large crowds would shout down these reactionaries. All that was needed was a little encouragement. However, the movement was a distraction to the masses and the truth is always dangerous to the tyrant’s agenda. Immediate action was necessary.

The patriots had to be discredited before they could gain momentum. For years, the wannabe tyrants had incredible success discrediting the opposition by labeling it “RACIST”; this bunch of loosely organized malcontents, the “Tea Parties”, would be no different. After all, the new President was black. It would be easy to convince the populous that the opposition to his programs could only be base upon racism. Mr. Obama’s particular brand of tyranny was the culmination of over 100 years of slow methodical advances in benevolent coercion (tyranny). After all, the Progressive’s agenda had enjoyed over 100 years of popularity. There could be no rational reason to oppose the Progressive’s program now except that the advocate was black.

Having almost total control of the “main stream media”, the wannabe tyrants expected a quick resolution to the threat. They unleashed the preponderance of propaganda demonizing all opposition to the tyrant’s benevolent program and declaring the malcontents to be racist. The premise was that these benevolent programs were clearly in the public interest so that only an irrational personal defect such as racism could be the cause of opposition. The tyrants flooded the media with claims from politicians, celebrities and progressive organizations such as the NAACP that the tea parties were racist and evil by nature. Of course, the claims were bogus. Ayn Rand’s book “ATLAS SHRUGGED”, published in 1957, took issue with all of Mr. Obama’s agenda, long before Mr. Obama even had an agenda. With such a flood of propaganda, the destruction of the Tea Party movement was imminent.

The midterm congressional elections were approaching rapidly and the tyrants redoubled efforts to demonize the Tea Party. Even the Rinos, (Republicans in name only) reinforced the tyrant’s message. The Tea Parties had to be totally discredited before the election. The tyrants flooded the mainstream media with misinformation, how could anyone associated with the tea parties hold their head up in public after being branded as evil racist. But a strange thing happened; the Tea Party participation increased, as did the demonstrations supporting candidates that oppose Mr. Obama’s agenda. But the tyrants were not worried. They were confident that the people would people respond to the overwhelming publicity of the preponderance of propaganda? The tyrants were sure that the November 2010 elections would crush the Tea Parties, forever.

The November 2010 elections were a disaster for the wannabe tyrants and a victory for the Tea Party. The tyrants lost control of the House of Representatives, lost many Governorships and almost lost control of the Senate. It was an impossible victory for the Tea Party and freedom. Worst yet, the victory increased the Tea Party’s momentum.

Of course the tyrants did not admit defeat. Instead, they blame the poor results on the failure of the voters tounderstand their agenda. They vowed to correct the misunderstandings and explain the virtues of their agenda to the masses. The tyrants, undeterred from their objectives, continued to enact legislation to advance their agenda during the lame duck session that followed the election. Yet, privately the tyrants were in a panic, seeing that power slip away and the momentum of the Tea Party growing.

With almost total control of the mainstream media, the preponderance of propaganda was unable to demonize and destroy the Tea Parties. They must have been very surprised at how little truth it takes to counteract the false premises and lies.

In accordance with their tactics the wannabe tyrants have increase the repetition and quantity of misinformation. Their top priority is now to limit or eliminate sources of the truth. Distortion and lies will be used to convert any event into an issue that supports silencing the opposition. The propaganda disseminated about the assassination attempt on Congresswoman Giffords is typical of their efforts. They must silence dissent if the wannabe tyrant’s agenda is to be successfully implemented.

The wannabe tyrants will stop at nothing to silence the truth! Both Hitler’s and Mussolini’s first priority upon obtaining power was control of the media. So far, President Obama has been unable to totally control the media. Having seen how little truth is required to discredit misinformation, silencing the opposition is now the wannabe tyrant’s primary objective! Claiming that the violence from a left-leaning lunatic, with no ties to the Tea Party, is caused by the Tea Party’s rhetoric demonstrates their desperation.

If the wannabe tyrants are successful in using the government’s monopoly on force to silence the political opposition, the American Revolution is lost!

Flooding the mainstream media with propaganda trying to convert an event into an issue has a second advantage to the wannabe tyrants. Attention is diverted from the repeal of Obama care.

I read with great dismay Zac Wamp's comments regarding Fox News. I have known for a long time MSNBC, for whatever viewers they have, has been Obama's Network, all Obama all the time.

Zach has claimed conservative roots, principles, and such. Now, to speak out against Fox News. the one voice in the wilderness, shocks me.

I know now the Governor's Race turned out exactly as it should. I cannot imagine if he had won and then turned into a Obama Liberal before our eyes.

There is a need for a "mature, responsible dissection of the anatomy of policy," Wamp said.

Wamp said he wants to provide an alternative to news shows that fail to provide insight about "where reasonable people can disagree on major issues and still cooperate."

"We’re not cooperating enough with each other," Wamp said.

He said MSNBC’s "Morning Joe" with Joe Scarborough, a former Republican congressman from Florida, is "the closest thing to that kind of a show" and there is nothing similar that airs weekly or during evenings.

Wamp said he recently participated in a yet-to-be aired ABC World News show with several other outgoing members of Congress.

"I didn’t pull any punches about the mistakes both parties have made," he said.

Wamp told the newspaper that he’s committed to working in the private sector and "being on television" is a possible career choice."

I hope conservative Republicans will read this and see how duped we were and how Wamp is turning on us because he was not elected.

If he does a show on MSNBC I guess he wants to speak to the lowest rated audience.Fox has more than MSNBC,CNN, and all the others put together. They will welcome his conversion and " fresh outlook " Ha-Ha.What a career choice for a man I once supported in his first term. He sure talked a good game.

The chief executive of McDonald’s has described critics of the company who have tried to curtail the sale of Happy Meals aimed at children as “food police” and accused them of undermining parents in making decisions for their families.

In an interview with the Financial Times, Jim Skinner responded to last month’s vote by the San Francisco board of supervisors to forbid restaurants from offering toys with meals unless the food complied with limits on calories, sodium, sugar and fat.

McDonald’s thus often finds itself in the crosshairs of regulators and activists who portray it as everything from the root cause of the US obesity epidemic to the primary culprit behind the problems associated with globalisation.

The company might win some battles over Happy Meals, but the larger direction of the “healthy food” war is not in its favour, said Eric Dezenhall, a communications consultant.

“Even though I think their approach to pushback is a good one, in the long run, it’s hard to fight what is really a cultural movement,” he said. “As with cigarettes or Humvees, that never-ending drumbeat takes a long-term toll that will force a company to be more nimble about its product offerings, which they are doing.”

He cited the deaths of 60 people in Mexico because of weather extremes, but didn't mention Mexico's 22,000 deaths caused by the illegal drug trade.
U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon announced that "we need to fundamentally transform the global economy, based on low-carbon, clean-energy resources." Barack Obama's announced goal of fundamentally transforming the United States has morphed into transforming the world.
This 16th annual conference of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), called COP 16 (Conference of the Parties 16), attracted some 20,000 delegates from 194 countries.
It had little to do with any science about climate change and everything to do with trying to get the United States and other industrialized nations to redistribute their wealth to the poorer nations under the supervision of eager United Nations bureaucrats.
Like previous climate change conferences, COP 16 deliberately pitted the poor countries against the rich countries, encouraging the poor countries to demand what the rich countries have without earning or paying for it.
This is the internationalist version of the basic Marxist tactic called the class war.
COP 16 propagandists blame every human tragedy on the high standard of living enjoyed (and earned) by the rich countries.
Our over-consumption is alleged to cause global warming. We are guilty because we are prosperous, so we supposedly owe reparations to the poor nations.
At COP 15 in Copenhagen a year ago, the poor countries ganged up on us and agreed that the United States should create a $30 billion "Fast Start" global climate fund by 2012 and reduce U.S. greenhouse gases by 17% below the 2005 levels.
This Fast Start climate fund would be committed to grow to $100 billion by 2020.
Fortunately, the Copenhagen proposals were never formally adopted. President Obama came and left empty-handed, Communist China refused to limit its emissions, and the Third World dictators didn't get the $100 billion handouts they expected.

STILL STAYING ON TOPIC

We are under attack from the Government, period. We are not going to receive a SSDI cost of living increase in 2011. he notice I received stated that the Cost of Living had not increased.

When you take out Gasoline and Food, then calculate, what exactly is left. I don't know where these people get their numbers. The average Gov't employee has received high raises in the last two years, now they talk about freezing their wages. That would be OK with me if I had gotten into the 6 digit brackett, freeze it, please !

I received my yearly anal exam from Met Life last week. They administer my U-Haul disability policy, which pays less than $ 300 per month. This year they want to know how much Deanna is receiving from Social Security. What business of their is it if she makes $ 10,000 per month ? Which I assure she does not. I am awaiting a call from my case manager as I type to protest this, of course, don't ask questions, they could just cut me off..

Glenn Beck supports my theory on Shortwave Radio

This morning, while listening to our Brother, Glenn Beck, he brought up Shortwave Radio. I could not beleive my ears.

For three years, I have stocked up on Shortwave Radios. I have purchased 5 over E-Bay. I have Radio Shack's older units, the DX-160. One of the best Shortwaves ever built. Heavy, made of real metal, lights that have not burnt out in over 30 years service. I have older tube units, small electronic units. I have shortwave antenns ran to a tree as in the U.S. Army Ranger handbook.

I have 4 CB Radio Base Stations. Base Station Antenna, a good one. CB Radio in my pickup and a Radio Shack 800 MHZ Scanner as well, fully functionable. I can pickup Weather Alerts direct from the National Weather Service while Mobile.

In short, I AM NOT PARANOID, I AM PREPARED.

I have expressed my theories with other friends on the mountain. Several have followed my ideas and we now have a radio net in which to work. I can monitor SW and re-broadcast on CB as needed, to less informed citizens.

In short again, There may come a day, when our true information may come across SW. The Obama Adm efforts to take control of the Internet and Talk Radio may force some information underground.

Obama and his Minions in his Administration has made it no secret they would love to silence Fox News.

"Fox News pushes a point of view that I disagree with. It's a point of view that I think is ultimately destructive for the long-term growth of a country that has a vibrant middle class and is competitive in the world," Obama said.

Now what exactly does his opinion of a vibrant middle class allude to. This exactly, class warfare. He is cloakingly saying that you have it this good with things like they are. If you keep watching Fox News and listening to Conservative Talk Radio, those of you in the "middle class" will suffer. Obama is insinuating, fall in line, keep the status quo, be quiet, don't question, listen to what we want you to know, thats enough !

The December 21 meeting of the F.C.C. is going to mark an opening salvo across the bow for Internet Bloggers. Online outreaches of Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and other Conservatives whose revealing of Obama's true intentions is a thorn in the side to Obama and Company. Freedom of Speech is at risk with the attack on the Internet. Countries such as China and Venezula are prime examples of being able to pull the plug on "risks to the Regime".

I never thought as Americans, we would ever see the President of the United States and his "supporters" try to save their Regime by shutting down Media, Internet, and Radio. Believe me, This is happening, Now.

Will we one day have to listen to Talk Radio on underground Short-Wave Radios, broadcasting late at night from an undisclosed location.
A plain non-descript building in a rural area. This brings back visions of the French Resistance during WWII, broadcasting information in code. I do have some Short-Wave Radios I have purchased that can operate on 110 Volt or a Car battery. Be prepared.

Before you write this off as a complete conspiracy theory, read and say, what if.

You, are the President of the United States. Your approval numbers are plummeting. There are groups such as the Tea Party rising up, communicating and organizing as never seen in past administrations. Your every move is under a microscope. Your'e party just took a butt-whipping in the mid term elections, and partly due to instant communications. What is the key to your regaining control ? The Internet, Talk Radio, both Am and FM, Bloggers with more followers than some Newspapers have got to be reined in
and the boot put on the neck of Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin, Liddy, Palin, and others.

What major event can help get you get this under control ? Sensitive information released on the " Uncontrolled Web ". That is the key. I find it extremely hard to believe that a Private, Corporal or some unknown NCo can get access to these sensitive materials. And Think, they have to be outrageous, embarassing, damaging, Top Secret,
and where were they leaked ? On the evil and uncontrolled WEB. Is it such a far fetched idea that Government would not put this together ? Yeah

The more severe, the more acceptable to Congress ! In Joint Session, The President comes forth and demands that the Web, Anti-Administration Talk, and Underground newspapers must be gotten in control and silenced, all in the name of National Security. This is the Perfect Storm against free speech and thought in this country. If by the Administrations's leaking these sensitive paper a few CIA, and other operative are in danger, the end justifies the means in the eyes of the Administration.

It will appear that the Administration is outraged, obtaining warrants for Wikileaks staffers, but how hard will they really look ? And a senario is in play already as to how the staffers will be handled if apprehended.

Shutting down Free Speech thru the FCC, making the Internet a tool of the Administration, keeping the Voices of the Right silenced, Only the State run Media remains.
We will be fed just what we are determined we need to know, not too much and not to little.

I don't think I am being paranoid or a doomsday observer. It seems everthing is going the wrong way at once.

Our Country, in 2 years under the Obama Regime, has spiraled out of control. We all know about the TARP, Stimulus, Son of Stimulus, Government Motors, etc. Even our President said there were things being done we don't know about, how comforting.

Social Security Recepts are getting hammered. The cost of living does not include energy and food, well what else matters ? Social Security recepts are going to shoulder the cuts more than most. Government employees wages are higher that ever, with many, many, making more that $ 100,00 per year. The class warfare is not between the rich and poor anymore, it is govt employees vs private sector. If history were to be studied, these type of circumstances existed before the rise of the Nazi's in Germany and before the revolution in Russia.

The searches, groping and other insults the flying public are going thru has a much more sinister purpose than just safety. The American public must become numb to government intrusion. Loss of freedom, "Present your Papers" is going to become accepted. Who are you going to complain to, the Government ? HA !

Top Down and Bottom Up strategies are being used in the internal remake of this nation. We are in Peril.

In the World, North Korea and South Korea are ready to go at it 50 years later, et al, China vs USA. But now thing are very different, we owe China MONEY. DO we dare upset the nation that holds our Mortgage ? Would you go to your Mortgage Banker and kick him in the Groin, Don't think so. A plan offered by the leaders of President Barack Obama’s commission to reduce the federal deficit might work. It just won’t happen.

The co-chairmen proposed a $3.8 trillion deficit-cutting plan yesterday that would trim Social Security and Medicare, reduce income-tax rates and eliminate tax breaks including the mortgage-interest deduction. It would reduce the annual deficit from $1.3 trillion this year to about $400 billion by 2015 and start reducing the $13.7 trillion national debt.

“Mathematically it apparently works,” said Stan Collender, a former Democratic House and Senate budget analyst and managing director of Qorvis Communications in Washington. “Politically, it is going to have a lot of trouble getting support from more than just the two co-chairs.”

The plan would raise the gas tax, slash defense spending and farm subsidies and bring down health-care costs by clamping down on medical malpractice suits. The Social Security retirement age would rise to 68 in about 2050 and 69 in about 2075.

Its release created instant opposition from Democrats, some Republicans and groups such as the Mortgage Bankers Association and the Aerospace Industries Association.

Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called the targeting of Social Security and Medicare “simply unacceptable,” and Republican Representative Jeb Hensarling of Texas expressed opposition to proposals to raise taxes.

Obama Reaction

Obama, in Seoul as part of a 10-day tour of Asia, said he had yet to read the plan and that critics should withhold their judgment until the final report. He urged congressional leaders to match rhetoric with action and join him in making difficult decisions about taxes and spending.

“So before anybody starts shooting down proposals, I think we need to listen, we need to gather up all the facts,” Obama said at a press conference with South Korean counterpart Lee Myung-Bak. “If people are, in fact, concerned about spending, debt, deficits and the future of our country, then they’re going to need to be armed with the information about the kinds of choices that are going to be involved.”

Panel co-chairman Erskine Bowles, former chief of staff to President Bill Clinton, joked that he and co-chairman Alan Simpson, a Republican former Wyoming senator, would have to enter a “witness protection program.”

‘Harpooned Every Whale’

“We have harpooned every whale in the ocean and some of the minnows,” said Simpson. The plan, he said, is sure to be unpopular. He and Bowles said should the proposals should be viewed as a starting point for negotiations. The panel meets again next week to consider changes.

“Is America ready for an adult conversation on the deficit?” said Representative Jim Cooper, a Tennessee Democrat. “It’s ‘put up or shut up’ time.”

None of the proposals would take effect next year to avoid disrupting the economic recovery. The savings would come between 2012 and 2020, cutting the deficit from the current 9 percent of the nation’s gross domestic product to about 2.2 percent in 2015, exceeding Obama’s goal of a reductions to 3 percent of GDP.

$8 Trillion

The government is projected to run $8 trillion in deficits over the next 10 years, which would push the national debt to more than $20 trillion. If the proposal were adopted without change, the government still would have deficits of $350 billion a year.

“It puts out there how big and real the problems are,” said Oklahoma Republican Senator Tom Coburn, a member of the committee.

Under one option, income-tax rates would be reduced to three levels: 8 percent, 14 percent and 23 percent. Now there are six tax levels ranging from 10 percent to 35 percent. The corporate income-tax rate would be cut to 26 percent from 35 percent.

The plan includes two less sweeping alternatives to ending all tax breaks, including one in which a pared back mortgage tax deduction would be retained. Under that proposal, homeowners could not take the break for second homes, mortgages worth more than $500,000 or home equity loans.

Wiping out all tax breaks, including the home mortgage- interest deduction, while lowering rates would cost taxpayers $100 billion a year. Members of the panel could decide to keep some of the breaks by offering offsetting cuts, Bowles said.

‘Not the Time’

John Courson, chief executive officer of the Mortgage Bankers Association in Washington, said eliminating or reducing the mortgage deduction would drive down home values.

“Of all the times to do it, now is not the time,” he said in an interview.

Still, Michael Ettlinger, vice president for economic policy at the Center for American Progress in Washington, said the fact that the deduction disproportionately benefits wealthier homeowners might create political will to revise it.

Overall, yesterday’s proposal would raise taxes by $751 billion over 10 years, including a 15-cent increase in the gas tax that would be phased in starting in 2013. Farm subsidies would be cut by $3 billion a year.

The plan calls for discretionary spending to be cut by $1.4 trillion over 10 years, while mandatory spending -- including Social Security, Medicare for the elderly and Medicaid for the poor -- would be reduced by $733 billion.

John Rother, executive vice president for policy at the senior citizens’ group AARP, said his group would oppose the plan because it would be “dramatically lowering benefits over time” in Social Security and Medicare.

‘Drop Dead’

Bowles and Simpson “just told working Americans to ‘drop dead,’” said AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka. “The very people who want to slash Social Security and Medicare spent this week clamoring for more unpaid Bush tax cuts for millionaires.”

The plan spells out $100 billion in defense cuts, including freezing Defense Department salaries and noncombat military pay at 2011 levels for three years, cutting overseas bases by one- third and doubling proposed cuts in defense contracting.

The Aerospace Industries Association, the trade group for U.S. defense contractors, said it had “grave concerns” about proposals to reduce funds for purchasing, research and development. “We cannot abandon the security of future generations,” said the group, which represents Lockheed Martin Corp., Boeing Co., and Northrop Grumman Corp.

Bowles said about three-quarters of the savings would come from spending cuts, with the remainder from tax increases.

Freeze Federal Salaries

It would reduce congressional and White House budgets by 15 percent, freeze federal salaries for three years and cut the federal workforce by 10 percent. House Republican leader John Boehner of Ohio, who will become speaker in January, said before the plan’s release that he supported a freeze on federal hiring and government workers’ pay.

The proposal would also end government funding of National Public Radio and the Public Broadcasting Service, begin charging fees to visitors to the Smithsonian Institution museums in Washington, raise fees at national parks and merge the Department of Commerce with the Small Business Administration.

It would eliminate the Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools, whose budget Obama proposed more than doubling from 2008 levels. The plan said that “while school safety should be protected, violence and drug abuse are problems that occur far less on school grounds than elsewhere.”

Agreement Needed

The panel needs agreement from 14 of its 18 members before a plan can be sent for an up-or-down vote in Congress.

Dan Seiver, a finance professor at San Diego State University, said the plan’s strength is its attack on many budget areas long considered untouchable. “You’re not really going to get fiscal sanity without goring everybody -- everybody has to sacrifice,” he said.

Orin Kramer, general partner of hedge fund Boston Provident Partners LP and a Democratic Party fund-raiser, said he doubts an agreement can be reached.

“The most central question that somebody should ask is: ‘What are the prospects for a grand bargain that will change the path of federal fiscal policy?’” Kramer said. “And the chances of that under current conditions are zero.”

I have had this on my mind since it happened but was afraid my message would be lost in the Election comments.

State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley sent Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ( Iaminajihad ) a birthday greeting on the occasion of his 54th Birthday. He used the greeting as a chance to ask for the freedom of two American hikers who have been held since 2009. He sent this message by what I guess is the newest diplomatic channel, Twiter.

I look back through history and yes, British P.M. Chamberlain made some very bad mistakes in his handling of Hitler.He thought, as does our current administration, that if he was appeasing, Hitler would be nice.

A-jad, as I call him, has threatened to remove Israel from the map. He is thought to have Nuclear weapons. If we could have the true information from our government, I feel he already has them. He is currently awaiting the 12th Imam, who is said to defeat all the Muslim non believers. He has spoken to the United Nations and spoken of how the United States is the great Satan. Iran is known to be a State sponsor of Terrorism. Human Rights in Iran does not exist. Women are stoned in the streets, Barbarism is everywhere.

Yet, thru a Social Networking Internet Website, our frail and impotent Government is using this as a delivery system for a request to release American Citizens. Where is the backbone in this country ? Where is Roosevelt's speak softly and carry a big stick ?

Birthday Greetings ? Happy Birthday thru weapons released by a F-22 Raptor Fighter. Birthday Greetings to your Nuclear Sites via Cruise Missles and B-52 Bombers, if we still have any that work.

The day will come, with very deep regret, that what I have tried to communicate in this posting will be re-read with saddness. The time to act is now. Stop A-jad's steady march to being a full blown Nuclear Power, Now !

The sad reality is that I am sure, in the highest command of our armed forces, these leaders know what I say is true. They know the clock is ticking, they feel the sweat on their brows, nervously wiped away before a meeting with the
President. He does not nor will not accept the facts before him. He is more concerned with a 10 day junket thru the far east. This reads like a travel brochure, 10 days in historic India, Indonesia, South Korea and Japan.

Whre else could our Government spent $ 2,000,000,000.00, Yes 2 Billion Dollars. 35 Warships will travel with Obama, countless secutiry, every room at the luxurious TajMahal in India is booked (580).

And what do we do here, He would prefer we watch The View and other mind numbing entertainment, I will NOT ! Pay attention, we have one a battle for Conservatisim but we have a Very Far way to go.

The way things "really" are.

I spend alot of time listening to talk radio. Not because I am a right wing nut locked in his basement in his underwear. Because, I cannot seem to get enough information about our country, our lives, and our futures.

The main stream media spouts the Obama agenda, the Kalifornia way of life. More money spent equals a better government is their mantra. I remember growing up as a kid, I thought Walter Cronkite, Huntley and Brinkley, and the other guys on ABC were really telling the truth. We only had three channels and I thought they all told the truth. Walter Cronkite was "Uncle Walter", he reminded us all of a family member who knew the truth. Back then I did not even know what a Liberal or a Conservative was. I do remember that when Barry Goldwater was running for President, the Big Three protrayed him as a raving lunatic, and I believed them.

This is the way it was in the late 60's and 70's.

I finally woke up in the early 80's. I was already retired with the MS and was spending alot of time listening to radio. I did not care for some of the music and by a miracle, I stumbled upon AM talk radio. I heard Rush Limbaugh for the first time. I could not believe what I was hearing. You mean to tell me that Bill Clinton is something called a Liberal ? What was a Liberal. I began my education in Government that Maryville High School never touched upon. Even now, As I type this, I am listening to Rush via Inernet Radio, thru some station I have never heard of, What a deal.

Now to the way things Really are.
There is a rebirth of Conservative Government that is going to make 1994 look like Kid's Play. Tha American people have had it and are standing up, speaking out, and will not be denied. Average Americans, who never dreamed about being in Politics, are jumping into the fray. They are average people, they are just like you and me. If I would not get in extreme trouble with Social Security I would run for something, anything. Maybe the Hamilton County School Board, I can see it now, Thurman and Thurmer are going crazy.

The Imaculate Conception of Barrack Hussein Obama caused Americans to think, If he can be President with no experience, I can be a U.S. Senator too. Obama has crammed "stuff" down our throats for 20 months and we are now sick to our stomachs. Americans are going to vomit the residue of Obama's Cram down November 2, right in the faces of Obama and his minions. You know what a Minion is, it is a Demon that assists Satan, at his beckon call. Obama has bowed down to Muslim leaders in the Middle East and turned his back on Israel. Israel is God's chosen people, If you want God's blessing, back Israel. Turn your back on Israel, God will turn his back on you.

We are in a Holy War with Muslims. There is a potential right now for a Mumbai type attack in this country. Is our Government all over these potentials, no. Let's just make nice and they won't hurt us. These people want us Dead, Period. According to the Quarn, ot however they spell it, If you don't convert, you die. There is one solution to this threat. Turn Iran, Afghanistan, Irag, Syria, and a few others, into another Ocean, The Cruise Lines need somewhere new to go anyway.

The Seasoned Citizens, you know, us folks on Social Security, we are the current cash cow for the Obama Administration. Keep taking money away from us, more to spend on Stimulus and Obamacare, which they still have not read.

I pity the less educated of our population. Those Senior who don't know how to negotiate thru the rough waters that you just daily work just to survive. I spend 20 hours a week working on either Medications, Bills, Benefits, and doing other peoples work. When I say other peoples work, correcting mistakes that Doctor's Offices and Fed Ex and other make and they leave it up to you to fix the mess.

I don't have the solution for any of this, but I know, the first step is cleanout the swamp called congress. The rest will follow.

Erlanger North Er Problems

On August 19, My wife flipped our Jeep Cherokee on the W Road. Thank God she was not injured. She drifted off the right shoulder and over corrected, striking the rock wall and then flippling. She was not entrapped but could not get out of the vehicle on her own. Walden's Ridge Emergency Service (WRES) responded and Jody Clift and another member went inside and cut her down.My Sincere Thanks for these gentlemen. When I arrived, she was sitting on the gaurdrail, shaken but no cuts and bruises. Regardless of her appearance, she could have suffered some internal injuries and myself and other family members thought she should be checked out. She refused an ambulance ride because we were about 5 minutes from Erlanger North and she did not want the added expense.

When we arrived at Erlanger North we informed the lady at the counter that she had been thru a rollover. She did not show any sign of concern. There was no Triage, no pre qualification, just have a seat and we will be with you. The waiting room had several patients ahead of her, even though you would think a rollover might move her up thru the Triage System. She waited and waited, watching the "patients" ahead of her. Most were complaining of back pain, others anxiety. They exhibited systoms of withdrawal, extreme sweating, agitated and such were obvious. We watched as the steady parade of patients entered an came out rather quickly with a script in hand. One Anxiety patient, after one hour, started cussing and stormed out of building, I am sure to enter the traffic flow with a pre set case of road rage.

One patient was so alarming, my daughter in law called my son, a Hamilton County Deputy and had a Deputy dispatched to the Hospital. He was standing outside and beating his chest like Tarzan. When we left, the same Deputy was still talking to this gentlemen. After 3 hours, Deanna was called back to see a Doctor. This man was a wreck, totally overwhelmed. He was in the room maybe 2 minutes. He listened to her chest and when Deanna commented on the groups outside as drug seekers, he said "Yes, he knew". Deanna was discharged and that was it.

No security was visible execept for an elderly black man in uniform without a weapon and really he did not stay around much. The news shows shootings at Hospitals on a regular basis, These individuals do pose a risk and my wife and family felt at risk. This was Erlanger's responsibility, to provide a safe environment for patients and workers alike.They have failed.

After my wife communticated all this to me, I tried to wade thru the maze of upper management, to find someone to complain to. Finally I got a name , Mickey Lilitta. I called his number 2 times and his secretary stated he wasn't in the office much, to try his cell. One eveing about 4:45 PM I contacted Mr Lilitta on his cell, he advised he would be home in about 15 minutes and would call me then. No Call. I have tried sveral times to contact Lilitta or just someone to listen to me.

I now have the bills, so far.$ 350.00 from Erlanger and $548.00 from Emergency Physicians. I have NO intention of paying these bills. Now exactly what did we receive from these people, nothing. Just a trip to Erlanger North and an exposure to the Drug Seeking world we live in. An Emergency room out of control. I was not satisfied that she walked out of there safe. She could have dropped dead from an internal injury, NO Thanks to these people. To my knowledge, Triage has been around a long time, but not there. It appears Erlanger doesn't not provide an avenue for Customer Complaints, Maybe the Court of Public Opinion will wake them up. Access to upper management should be very simple, an open door policy, unless Upper management simply does not care.

If they cannot secure the ER, have a Triage in place, and give quality patient care, close the ER !

What every American should read !

Six months ago, President Obama, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi rammed Obamacare down the throats of an unwilling American public. Half a year removed from the unprecedented legislative chicanery and backroom dealing that characterized the bill's passage, we know much more about the bill than we did then. A few of the revelations:

» Obamacare won't decrease health care costs for the government. According to Medicare's actuary, it will increase costs. The same is likely to happen for privately funded health care.

» As written, Obamacare covers elective abortions, contrary to Obama's promise that it wouldn't. This means that tax dollars will be used to pay for a procedure millions of Americans across the political spectrum view as immoral. Supposedly, the Department of Health and Human Services will bar abortion coverage with new regulations but these will likely be tied up for years in litigation, and in the end may not survive the court challenge.

» Obamacare won't allow employees or most small businesses to keep the coverage they have and like. By Obama's estimates, as many as 69 percent of employees, 80 percent of small businesses, and 64 percent of large businesses will be forced to change coverage, probably to more expensive plans.

» Obamacare will increase insurance premiums -- in some places, it already has. Insurers, suddenly forced to cover clients' children until age 26, have little choice but to raise premiums, and they attribute to Obamacare's mandates a 1 to 9 percent increase. Obama's only method of preventing massive rate increases so far has been to threaten insurers.

» Obamacare will force seasonal employers -- especially the ski and amusement park industries -- to pay huge fines, cut hours, or lay off employees.

» Obamacare forces states to guarantee not only payment but also treatment for indigent Medicaid patients. With many doctors now refusing to take Medicaid (because they lose money doing so), cash-strapped states could be sued and ordered to increase reimbursement rates beyond their means.

» Obamacare imposes a huge nonmedical tax compliance burden on small business. It will require them to mail IRS 1099 tax forms to every vendor from whom they make purchases of more than $600 in a year, with duplicate forms going to the Internal Revenue Service. Like so much else in the 2,500-page bill, our senators and representatives were apparently unaware of this when they passed the measure.

» Obamacare allows the IRS to confiscate part or all of your tax refund if you do not purchase a qualified insurance plan. The bill funds 16,000 new IRS agents to make sure Americans stay in line.

If you wonder why so many American voters are angry, and no longer give Obama the benefit of the doubt on a variety of issues, you need look no further than Obamacare, whose birthday gift to America might just be a GOP congressional majority.

Glenn Beck's Restoring Honor 2010 was a call for America to return to our roots.

Glenn spoke on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, where as Sarah Palin said " Two Score and 7 years ago " MLK Jr. made his exceptional " I have a Dream " Speech.
What more honor could Glenn and Company have paid to MLK Jr. than to speak about America's return to God on this date and at this sacred place.

Every Public School in this Country should Re-Play this entire event to the student population. Conservatives wonder why our Country has veered so far off course and then elected a Radical President. The removal of God from our Schools was a major contributor. Our Youth has no direction, no moral compass. There is a small minority, who thanks to their parents, know the truth and follow God in their lives. They will be the leaders and new cornerstones in this Nation.

All is not lost. Brave men like Glenn Beck who will stand on Government Property and proclain the need for God in our lives and Country will lead the way. Chrysler Finance Expects Churches to make Payments.

Every Day I cease to be amazed. My Brother in Law called this morning. He is battling Cancer and cannot work any longer. He has a Dodge truck financed thru Chrysler Finance.

Chrysler Finance called last week, he is 1 month behind on his payments. He pleaded with the caller that he needed a refinance, some help, any help, to keep the truck rather than let it go back. The caller next dropped a bombshell. He recommended he go to a local Church and ask for assistance. My Brother in Law could not believe what he heard. He asked what do I do next month, go to another Church and repeat. The called said yes.

My Brother in Law told the Caller he would go to Church for only one reason, to worship God, not to beg for money.

It appears this is where we have gotten to. The Financial Sector, suffering thru a Recession, is expecting people to turn to Churches to keep them afloat. My Brother in Law reminded the caller that Chrysler had had recieved Government/Citizen's Money and now they were looking to Churches to fund them. The caller stated that Chrysler Finance did not recieve any Government/Citizen's Funds. I have not yet taken the time to research this claim as I am too upset.

Where in the world are we headed when the Financial Sector tells us to bleed money from the Faithful. This is an outrage. My Brother in Law told the Caller before he would do as they said to come and get the Truck, Period. The Caller reminded him he was on a taped line which he replied, Fine, Bring it to Court and let everyone hear this outrage.

I always welcome feedback. I am interested to know if this is becoming widespread with the economic downturn or is this an isolated incident perpatrated by an overzealous irrelegious libertine.

First, to my Brother in Arms, Johhny Franks, Hubba. Now let's get to the point.

Many of us are disgusted by the actions of President Barrack Hussein Obama. He continues to show his allegiance by Ramadan Celebrations and all things Muslim.
To my knowledge, and I am sure I will be corrected if possible, he does not attend a Christian Religious Organization. As for myself, I now believe that he is of Muslim faith. I know that as others have stated, the attention this current scandal has attracted is probably disguising more sinister actions hidden from the light of day.

Americans, most anyway, have a sore spot when it comes to the World Trade Center Attacks. Speaking for myself, I believe that the United States is in a Religous War. A war that is anchored in the most sacred of feelings. If an enemy is so deeply devoted to the point of Suicide Bombings, does anyone besides our President that we can make nice and get along. These people understand one thing, conquer or be conquered.

We have got to call this as it is. President Obama is promoting the advancement of Muslims in this country. Take for example the denied mission of NASA, to bring more Muslims into the Agency and show their credits and strengths.

If you are at War with a belief, which few will admit, you make it difficult for them to promote their ideas here. I am sorry, we don't need to make the United States
a nice place for these people to be. Even today, with our President's grand plans to pull out of Iraq, those people are showing what the future will be there. They are already blowing each other up. Wait till we really are out, Civil War and the rebirth of an Islamic Militant State. How do you say another IRAN.

The scattering of Mosques around this country reminds me of a statement by Premier Kruchiev, " We will bury you from within ".

Another 131,000 people lost jobs in July. The recovery has stalled and the nation is in deep debt. The recovery would probably be turning around and jobs being created if the administration had chosen another path other than government spending. But this regime is so out of touch with the nation, its problems, and any good solutions.

A good example of being out of touch is the glitzy, posh, expensive vacation Michelle Obama is taking in Spain. The luxury resort in Costa del Sol has turned over about 50 rooms for the Queen of America. She took 40 of her closest friends with her on this extended spending spree.

The American people paid for the transportation of Queen Michelle’s entourage, are footing the bill for security and who knows what else. So, instead of vacationing here and spending all that money on American businesses and tipping American workers, we are benefiting Spain. I guess this is the Obamas’ idea of Spanish stimulus checks.

Some are calling this insensitive, but I say it is par for the course with this administration. Since coming into the White House this family has treated the presidency just like Tony Heywood treated his job with BP - as a privileged CEO.

So as the Queen relaxes from all her hard work fighting obesity she probably giggles when she hears that more people are on food stamps than ever before by saying if they are hungry, then let them eat cake.

Why am I paying my taxes to get this kind of leadership or the lack thereof?

I really hate to burst Johnny Franks's bubble with the truth, but here goes:

According to a website, the trip consisted of Mrs. Obama, two other women and four children. It specifically states, "not 40 as has been reported by some news outlets." It also states that she was asked by one of the women to join them on the trip, she is paying for her own spending, and the friends flew commercially, not on a government plane.

Much of the criticism comes from the fact that any president or first lady must, whether at home or abroad, follow Secret Service protocols. Since the assassination of President Kennedy after his override of Secret Service protocols, presidents no longer have that option. That means that they must fly in a government plane (reimbursing the taxpayers for the cost of a first-class ticket) and have full Secret Service protection.

High-end resorts are generally more secluded and thus, have better security, so that's why they use those. And, obviously, no one expects the Secret Service agents to work for free or pay for their own food, so they are provided rooms and a per diem. They would be paid the same, regardless of where the vacation is.

The same rules applied to Reagan and both Bushes. It is nice to know that the hateful are bipartisan and consistent; I remember when Nancy Reagan was being bashed as "Queen Nancy."

You might also learn that President Obama has taken fewer vacation days than any of his recent predecessors. Or to learn that former Vice President Cheney requested an extension of Secret Service protection when it expired, which was granted.

Check your facts, double-check your sources (don't believe everything you read in an email).

Great post Kim. I was just about to submit the same “facts” after reading Mr. Franks’ posting. I could not have stated it better. It still amazes me that President Obama’s critics continue to blast him with clearly biased and untrue attacks. So now I guess it’s not OK, in their opinion, for Mrs. Obama to take a vacation? I suppose when all of the previous First Ladies traveled they all went to Gatlinburg, flew commercial and took a pocket knife for protection.

Johnny Franks recently wrote a fair and balanced account of the Queen's jaunt to Spain to console her oby-gyn whose father recently passed. I had an opinion piece in my mind but after Johnny submitted his, I was so pleased I just let his ride.

Someone, maybe the Pope, needs to compile their total excursions, on your dime. But even then, he would be attacked. These people from Barack, Michelle, the Kids, Michelle's Momma, and whoever else has moved in, seem to be pinching themselves in disbelief that they have hit the jackpot. I mean wow, she doesn't even have to put on her on make up. Her staff's annual salary is in excess of $1.3 million.

George W. refused to play golf while we are at war, as to not project an image that he was not fully engaged. I guess BHO is so brilliant he can play basketball with his celebrity friends and still manage the war, our dying economy, the $13 trillion deficit and ObamaCare. He is so amazing the rest of us just stand in awe.

No not really...we are getting the shaft and some of you will never know it or even admit that it is happening.

May God please watch over our country while it is being destroyed from within by Socialists.

In response to Mr. Thurmer – First, a simple internet search would have shown you that it is a lie to say that President Bush didn’t play golf after pledging not to play during the Iraq war. Second, did you criticize Mr. Bush for mountain biking during the war as you criticized President Obama for playing basketball?

Third, all First Ladies have staffs. Did you look up how much Mrs. Bush staff cost? Was it more or less than $1.3 million a year? Did you criticize Mrs. Reagan for how much she spent to change the china pattern in the White House? Or are you just looking grasping for any reason to criticize and administration whose policies you don’t support.

If you remember, I was miserable, Period. Everything simply sucked. Confused and dazed, did not remember what I had for dinner before. I guess you get the picture.

I go to Nashville, To Vanderbilt Medical Center's Multiple Sclerosis Clinic. I had the attitude this was my last chance. I had been to Neuro's, some never even laid a hand on me the first time they ever saw me. Looking back, MS patients are a cash cow. Think about it, from a Dr's stanpoint you come in every 60-90 days and get a pat on the back, refills for whatever Tranquilizers you're on and thats it.

Not at Nashville. They listened. They Listened to Deanna describe me when I appeared to have drunk a 12 Pack. After much consideration, Dr. Moses (yeah, that's his name Thank God whips out his script pad and writes me Tegretol. Tegretol is an old Epileptic Med. He said he thought this might stop my MS brain from going to these cocktail parties I was not invited to.

For two weeks, last Tuesday (knock on wood) I have not had a single problem, period.
Praise God ! Everyone says I look differently, really. My eyes feel wide open.

Now for the second part of this change in me. A few months ago i decided I had enough. You have heard the song, "Jesus take the wheel", that was how I felt. I have fought MS for 20 years. I thouht you could be a Christian and not go to Church. We had looked over the years, wasn't really feeling right. David Clemons, a dear friend of mine and fellow Lodge member kept telling me to come to his church. Well. we knew the time had come. Deanna and I went to Sawyer's Missionary Baptist Church and found our home. A small little white church in the country,a wonderful Pastor named larry Miller. Great members, never a stranger, In fact, Deanna and I joined the church last Sunday. Life is different now. God sent me to Vanderbilt and co-ordinated this entire turnaround.

Life is wonderful. MS has met it's mach, God is healing me and beleive me, I know it..

Everyone please pray for Deanna and I, we have finally found the path.

I truly wish all Americans would back up and think. Our President and his Minions in both houses of Congress have a stategy of Diversion. Remember the old saying the Hand is quicker than the eye ? Where it applies to regime is as follows.

They are using their abilites to write bill after bill after bill. They Vote, Vote, and Vote. When the State Controlled Media points out one paticular Bill for scrutiny, there may well be another 25 running under the Radar and all more outrageous than the State Media Target.

The Wall Street Overhaul bill, currently being voted upon is a classic example. ABC NEWS (State Run Media) has just given their update at 3:07PM during the Introduction to the Sean Hannity Radio Show. They have announced that even Democrats are unhappy with some of the wording as well as no controls over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. This Headline is drawing more attention to this (another) 2700 page bill and draws attention away from the suprises that are yet slowing bubbling to the surface regarding Obamacare. Which I also would add, Bubbles as slow as a Gulf Oil Well.

BREAKING NEWS: Just announced, The Regime has given US TAXPAYER funds to support a YES Vote in Kenys, regarding a Constitutional Rewrite.

So now we are using our Taxpayer funds to influence voters in Kenya. But remember, we could not afford a Cost of Living Increase for the Social Security Recipients. They could not afford the $ 250 one time payment for the lack of a COLA.

Here again, this just breaks and the Financial Overhaul moves from the spotlight. Of course no other News agency beside FOX will report the Kenya story.

More Bad news which the State Controlled Media won't touch, the Congressional Budget Office announced today that 2010-2011 will have more foreclosures than the last 2 years. 1 house out of every 78 homes in the United States will go into Foreclosure.

First let me say I like Zach Wamp, always have. His office has helped me on a couple of issues and were always prompt and courteous and got the job done

I have decided that Bill Haslam will be the best choice for Governor based on very important point. He has ran a very successful business. His father, Jim Haslam started Pilot Oil Company with small Service Stations. Gas, Cigarettes, Coca-Cola Machine, Tom's Peanuts, and Someone to pump your gas. His vision into the Self Service Market helped catapult Pilot Oil Company into what is today. Travel Centers, Convenience Stores, Multi State Operations.

Bill worked and ran the Company for 23 years then ran for Mayor of Knoxville. He has had a very successful Term as Mayor, running Knoxville like a business, period.

After 2 Terms of Bill Bredesen and some really bad Governor's before him,( Remember Ray Blanton?),the time has come for the State of Tennessee business as usual to end. Stop the crony operations, clean out the partisan boards that create Czar type County "Governor Reps" that dole out the favors to the good old boys. When it came time to "clean up Tenncare" Governor Bredesen threw Me and others like me under the Bus.

Here's the Kick in his wisdom, We were paying a monthly premium for our prescription coverage. It never was the same, sometimes 50 dollars a month, somtime 350, but never ask those geniuses why, they would send you a letter stating your appeal is being considered and you will not lose your Tenncare now. Really makes you want to ask questions.

The reason I know that Bill Haslam has to have a keen business mind and a quick thinker, my father was an Exxon Distributor in Blount and Knox County for 30 years, AS my Dad did, the Haslam's had to deal with shortages, rationing, wild price fluxuations, Personell Issues, Federal and State and City Regulations, and the list goes on and on. My Dad's Career was cut short by Colon Cancer at 58 years of age. The Company was sold by my Stepmother and that was that.

Some have criticized the Haslam's for "Being Wealthy". I appreciate any successful business person and if they accumulate some wealth, fantastic.

If Bill Should happen to lose to Zach Wamp, I will support Zach for Governor, but as for now, I want a Successfull Business Man Running this State..

An appointment at Vanderbilt MS Clinic

After so much frustration with Neurologists in Chattanooga and with my worsening Cognitive problems, I decided to request a referral to the Vanderbilt MS Clinic in Nashville. The appt is set for July 20. I can't wait.

I am ready to go to someone who understands MS, as it really is. I have had too many Doctors try to minimize the symptoms and wish away the pain. Now I am on pain meds that I see no way off of. I am looking for help. The worsening cognitive issues may be due the meds as well, I just don't know. Periods of appearing "Drunk" and having no memory of these episodes is terrifying.

If I stayed in that condition, I would have to go to a nursing home, there is no way Deanna could keep me out of trouble.

It's Been Too Long Since my Last Post, And Why

I had written in the last couple of posts that I was having MS problems, it has been rough. Since my last post I had one episode that lasted three days and took two more to get over.

The new word for these I think is Complex Partial Onset Seizures. The decriptions fit what I am doing. I found that the closest MS Clinic is at Vanderbilt University hospital In Nashville. Evidently no one in East or Southeast Tenn thinks MS is a serious enough problem to devote the resources.

I have got to get an answer and try to recieve treatment to this worsening problem. I always have new cuts and bruises, Deanna is a wreck, and I fear I am really going to get hurt bad or killed during one of these if it is not treated. Usually I have no memory, but this last one I remember for a unknown amount of time trying to stand up out of my office chair and my legs not working, they would not work, period.

Deanna came home and found me in the floor, still trying to get up.

My Cognitive issues are worsening, can't remember much of anything, even the little things during the week. During one of the episodes one friend came by and stayed here three hours. In his words, I always appear Drunk. Anyway, he thought I was some better and left me in the basement with my radios, me promising I would stay there until Deanna got home. Well, you can't believe a thing I say. that was the day she found me in the floor.

I have got to admit the truth about MS

I was diagnosed 20 years ago this month. I can honestly say the Doctors have done a pretty good job of managing the MS, what little they can do.

The truth is there is not a whole lot they can do. They can treat the pain with opiates, but, after 20 years the dosage gets higher and higher. The DEA and all the other government agencies have the doctors and pharmacists scared to death. I have to admit the meds all just treat the symptoms, period.

Sadly, you are judged by the others who don't have a clue as to what you are dealing with. You can't even tell your relatives what meds you are on or you will be classed as a druggy.

The last attack I had this week has till got me slowed down. Deanna had to call members of the WRES to come and lift me out of the floor, I could not stand up. I am scared what each episode may bring. If I stayed like that, she could not take care of me. I am getting worse, That is the truth.

What to do when dear friends still think you can do anything with Multiple Sclerosis.

Back in 2001, I was elected as Worshipful Master of Signal Mountain Lodge # 758, Free and Accepted Masons. I had transfered to this Lodge from My Home Lodge, New Providence # 128 in Maryville Tenn back in 1995 or 96. Since becoming a Mason in 1981, this was the Pinnacle at that time of my Masonic Membership.

Like the founders of this Country were mostly Mason's. the Masonic structure of internal Government is structured like our Governement. Each Officer is elected each year, based on his performance in his current position and his vision for the Lodge's success, within the guidlines set by the Grand Lodge of Tennessee.

AT the time, I was on Ritalin for hypersomeulence, in other words, chonic fatigue. In adults, it really turns your crank and there is not much you cannot do. I attack challeneges wide open, started a weekly School of Instruction, and did everything I could to promote the Lodge to the Community. Alot of people did not even know there was a Lodge here on the Mountain.

I also had the challenge of being WM when 9-11 Happened. I had to show the Masonic Family waas ready to step up and help others, if only just to have someone to talk too. The next year on the 1st anniversary, we handed out 500 American Flags at the local Grocery store here on the mountain, Eaach had a labed stating, " Courtesy of Signal Mountain Masonic Lodge # 758, We Will NEVER FORGET. It wwas a huge hit and for a time , we recieived some acknowledgement.

Let me clear something up right now, before anyone freaks, Masonry is based on the Bible. There is NOTHING negative, prejudicial, or otherwise wrong with this organization. The Motto is, " To make good Men Better ". The Master is a title that has been stated as such since King Solomon's time and does does show that this man is any higher up the "ladder" than any other Mason. We are all on the "Level". just someone has to lead for a year term. I had the honor of being the first Master to serve 2 years back to back, and hold that today.

The last 10 years has seen a worsening in my condition. I get tired quicker, fatigue kicks my but, The is also a Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star at the Lodge and they are experiencing a period of growth. They want the Masons to support them, of course we will. The problem I face is 1 practice/school a week and 1 stated meeting per month is about all I can handle, plus what I try to do at home.

My friends, based on my past performance think I can roll right into everything that's needed, some repaired, helping the ladies advertise a monthly breakfast open to the public every 4th Saturday. I can't participate. I may get to come and eat sometimes but I can't be the go to guy I was 10 years ago. I don't look much different, maybe a little grayer, But I am not the same fireball I was then.

MS causes this problem and I am sure there is not a one of those of us who have this mess who hasn't experienced what i am talking about. It's just something I am going to have to try to get it across. And then of course there is the feeling you are letting them down..

Spring Storms are a Coming

For the first time this Year, Severe Thunderstorms are going to threaten the Southeast. My Mother during the War was a Weather Spotter. She had been trained to read weather maps and be able to watch cloud formations as a clue as to what was coming. Being born and raised in Mobile Alabama, she had a helthy fear of storms and passed that on to me.

I have spent my share of time in a bathtub covered with a blanket and pillow. Once, there was a Tornado touchdown in Maryville, Tennessee about 2 miles from where we lived. i looked out the window and saw the funnel cloud. It did not approach our home but did damage a local Ford Dealership.

Anyway, the system that is approaching is a large cold front, coming out of the southern plains. Today the temps will be in the low 80's, about 10 degrees above normal. That heat is going to collide with the cold front and here we go. There is a myth that Tornados do not form over Mountains, such as Signal Mountain. This is False. I have seen damage during my time with the Lone Oak Vol. Fire Dept. of Twisting damage to large Oak Trees here on the mountain. It resembled taking several sheets of paper and twisted them between your two hands. The trunks and roots were wound around and round.

I have a rather large Communications System downstairs, Shortwave Monitors, Scanners, CB and 2 Meter. I will have to disconnect my exterior antennas to prevent Lightning from entering the equipment. My Homeowners does not covers the radios.

My 9-1-1 Training, SkyWarn Training and VFD Training is valuable during these events. I also received training in Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) which was a program after 9-11 that the Govt tried get volunteers to participate in to assist their communitys somewhat like a VFD. I tried to promote it but the Volunteers had one of two goals, either to be a kind of Police Officer, Person of Authority or Just a Follower...It did not go well. It was difficult trying to keep them from having too many chiefs and not enough Indians..

Well, Got to go, Need to check my flashlights and when Deanna gets here, charge the cell phone..

In response to Mitch Thurmer..right on target and I couldn`t have said it better. It's too bad anymore when you express your opinion on Obama or his left wing agenda that you are labeled a "teabagger" or a right wing kook or a racist. I am sick and tired of this double standard.

There are some idiots out there that still haven`t had enough of blaming Bush. Anything that Obama does is somehow connected to a mistake that Bush made. Obama is having to clean up Bush`s mistakes. OK, we have heard that quite enough and frankly are growing tired of the same ole same ole all the time.

Yes, November does come every year and when it rolls around this year the libs are going to be a little surprised to see that they have to pack their bags and leave their gravy job.

When will supporters of the left agenda see that they are not in it for you? They claim to be for the small man, for the poor man, for the one with no healthcare.

They haven`t a clue what it takes to make $8 an hour and raise kids.

They think the answer that serves everyone is to take my tax money and hand it over to someone that never even attempts to get a job or go out and try to make an honest living.
How many of those so-called people without any healthcare are the very ones ridin' dirty down the streets with their "sounds", their cell phones and their drugs for sale? How many of those ones I just named are across the country and they never have any intentions of going to work, yet they are included in the 30 million without healthcare.

I`d dare to say that across the country the "gangstas" and the do nothings and the just plain "handout" junkies are primarily the ones that clog up our emergency rooms and cause insurance rates to go up to begin with. Of course, the insurance companies have to raise rates, someone has to pay for all the freebies that the do nothings get all the time. But God forbid if we point them out, huh?

Obama is making a mockery out of this country, making us weaker and incrementally tearing down the bricks that built our Constitution and our moral background.

Dicky, do you even know what TEA party stands for. Well, it means Taxed Enough Already. What about that offends you? If you want to pay more and more taxes, go right ahead. Make a donation to the federal government. As for the majority of Americans that do their job and pay their taxes, we have had enough of being taxed everywhere you turn.

I, for one, want this country to get back to pre-60`s thought. Where you bought a house or a car that you can afford and actually pay for it. You don`t expect the government to come along and bail you out because you can no longer afford it. Thats nonsense and, as for me, I`d feel guilty always having my hand out wanting something that someone else earned.

In Studying all the Day to Day activities of the Obama Administration, I have come to the conclusion that Rush Limbaugh's labeling as a Regime is on Target. The Following Definition Describes Obama's Agenda to the Letter.

For instance, the United States has one of the oldest regimes still active in the world, dating to the ratification of its Constitution in 1789. Although modern usage often gives the term a negative connotation, like an authoritarian one, Webster's definition clearly states that the word "regime" refers simply to a form of government.

The term is also used to distinguish what is actually being enforced from what is considered legitimate. Enforcement of an unconstitutional statute would be a regime but not a law.

State and statute: In general where people are made to statute and salute the government on a daily basis or live under the government's guidelines where idealism took dictative roles is a regime. In a regime, over time, ideological warfares dogmatize thought, replace politics with its own interests, and carries a large presence of hardliners in top positions. The dogmatism of the ideology outwhelmes all other interests

It appears every aspect of our lives, even down as to how much salt you have on your home grown Tomato, will be dictated by the Regime. Today's announcement regarding Salt intake and The FDA moving to regulate useage is simply the latest brick in the Wall. Every day, there is not just one regulation or announcement, proclamation, outrage, whatever. Senator Chuck Schumer, Expressing extreme displeasure with Spirit Airlines over charging $ 45 for a carry on bag. At face value, it does sound bad, but, the rest of the story. This moring, the Spirit Rate for a Round Trip flight from New York City to Miami and back, $ 69 each way. Other Competitors, between $ 350 to $ 500. What is really upsetting Schumer is the fact the Spirit is "Unfairly" being successful. Their rates are much lower period. In Schumer's eyes and in the Regime's World, They are Unfair.

The daily barrage of change, both seen and unseen in the Regime, is designed to confuse us. If there is so much going on, so fast, the American people, they hope, will simply get lost in the shuffle.

Time to Take Back Our Country

I have written numerous articles regarding the state of our nation. I have written about Obama, Biden, the Clintons, and the liberal Democratic Senate and House.

I have been told I have no right to complain. I am on Social Security disability from a 20 year battle with multiple sclerosis. I am a registered Republican and a Conservative, proudly.

Being that I am part of the system, doesn't that mean I have insider view of all this? I can speak as to the pitiful cost of living increase, or the lack of one. I can give you the real feeling of "those people."

The Medicare system, the plain old Medicare has served well. Yes, I get hammered at the first of the year with deductibles, and let's not forget the prescription donut hole.

I remember being healthy, on the corporate ladder, climbing quickly, chasing the American dream. I was bulletproof and I looked down on people like me, the undeserving. I was one of the critics of the disabled and retired.

Now, I see through a glass, clearly. I am under the control of the government, they think. Well, let me assure you, I still have the right of free speech and I will make use of this glorious blessing.

Therefore, all of you must not take this right lightly. You have the power to change this spiral of destruction we are in. It is never too late to fight and speak the truth.

The United States must be saved and there is only one way to do it. This primary season and on to the general elections we must qualify each and every candidate. Study their history and positions. The best cure to fix our ills is to rebuild from within.

We must repeal this crazy health care bill and try to overturn other mistakes, such as the upcoming VAT tax and cap and trade, which is on the horizon.

I support Tommy Crangle for the Third District House of Representative seat. He has passed my test and is qualified. Study for yourself, and make the right decision.

Wanting to write about MS but everything else is Bad

When I started this Blog, I had followed some great bloggers, such as Tara,(Living Day to Day with Multiple Sclerosis), who really has a great site and stays on topic.

Before being diagnosed 20 years ago, I was in the corporate world, Typa A all the way. I still have alot of that in me, can't help it. When I see something in the news or on Talk Radio that cranks me up, I have to let it fly.

Here is todays, REALLY PISSED ME OFF.
Senator Bernie Sanders, (I) Vermont, wrote a bill giving each of us SSDI recipients $250, to help with the increased cost of living since we are not getting a cost of living allowance (COLA) for at least the next 2 years. The Senate, In their divine wisdom, voted this down 50-47. Damn these people. Senators, at my last count earn $ 176,000 per year, and after 2 terms, have retirement for life. They stated they were holding down the deficit. Crap. If the Govt can pass Porkulus, bail out banks, buy Car Companies, Fly Air Force 1 to Hawaii for vacation, I think they can spare a small $ 250 for us. The cost of living has gone up, dramatically. I challenge anyone, to prove to me their cost of living has not gone up, period.

$250 is what these Senator probably pay for a family steak dinner at one of DC'S finest Steakhouses. The Health care plan calls for cutting Medicare by 500 Billion dollars, who does that effect ? ME and others like me.

I called the Senators office in Vermont and praised him on his attempt to help us. I also requested a list of the 47 gutless porkers who voted against this bill. The Staffer, who was great, is going to send me a list of the no voters next week.

I am going to email these patriots. I am going to make them famous. I want to know how their standard of living is. I want them to go on Medicare. I will hit the Donut Hole in April/May and will have no prescription covrage. One medication I take for the MS is $ 1800 per month, but thanks to the manufacturer, I pay $ 75.00 every three months, but thats not even easy.

I am a Conservative Republican, kind of an oddball on SSDI, Medicare, and all the other mess. I feel our taxes should help the people and this wonderful country we live in. Instead of denying SSDI a small check, They spend 1 million dollars sudying the mating habit of fruit flies, and crap like that. I am going to list the pork as well. These people waste money like there is no tommorrow. I have been told it takes $ 22,000 per hour to operate Air Force 1, Obama uses it like a Taxi, 2 trips to Copenhagen which was crap. Trying to get the Olympics for Chicago which would have enriched his buddies and then the trip for the fake Global Warming Summit, which was a flop.

Stand by for more, I am not going to let this drop. I am going to make some Senators famous. I hope they sleep well at night after living the lavish lifestyle of semi royalty they live.

Drug Stores forced to become a Drug Police

It has been a Busy Day. Having to deal with Truck Payments, Power Bill payments, Gas prices here going up 20 cents overnight, I was not in a good mood when it became time to refill my Medications.

I called my locally owned Pharmacy, whose name I will hold. I spoke with one of his techs and explained I had two new scripts on file that needed to be filled. The medications these are refilling were last filled Jan 28. There are 31 days in Jan, therefore, being today is Feb 24, This was the 27th day, today. Feb 28th is on Sunday, which this local owned store is closed. I was trying to get the meds filled tommorrow, simple as that.

I am going to ride to nashville to the VA Hospital with a friend Friday. Saturday I have a gentleman coming to do some repairs on the house the landlord wants done and Sat afternoon, I am going to a Tea Party, Candidate Debate. As you see, I am disabled but I still have a life, Thursday was the natural day to get the meds filled, I am still the CUSTOMER.

Anyway, The Tech said I couldn't get the new scripts filled until Sat 2/27 or Mon 3/1. 3/1 ? That 32 days I told her. I told her I would get back with her,(Before I blew a gasket).

I stewed over this, trying to figure out what could be causing this problem. Is my hair too long, do I not dress formally enough ( This is Signal Mountain after all), what could it be. Then I called My Medicare Part D Provider, Humana.

I spoke with a delightful young lady named Kim and explained my problem. She gladly pulled up my record and said Thursday would be just fine, they have no problem with that. I asked her if it could be a State of Tennessee Problem. She went away for a couple of minutes and came back, stating the State of Tennessee stated you could get the Meds 7 days early, Uh-Huh..

Now, I called my Doctor's Office, Maybe they have "blackballed" me or something. I spoke with my Doctor's Nurse, a Great young lady named Angie, She said they had not restricted my purchases in anyway. I asked her what now, She went away and came back, saying Dr. A. had said for them to refill the meds tommorrow and if they have a problem, let them call. HUBBA

I am going to the Pharmacy in the morning, with my notes and see what happens. There is only one more answer I can possibly see might be involved, The State Of Tennessee.
A couple of years ago, The STATE established a "Clearing House" for script records, especially for controlled substances, to "Help" Doctors and Pharmacies maintain their records. Yeah Right.

I went to the Board website that controls the Pharmacy and Doctors. Every Script they write is entered into a database. Every Script, any script, can trigger an Audit, where a Pharmacist's life will be turned up side down. They are expected to enforce the laws of the state, always being fearful of their own licenses being pulled.

Life is becoming more and more complicated every day, especially for people like myself on Social Security and Medicare. Prices are going up, scripts are forcing me into the donut hole, which will force me to go to the med companies with my hat in my hand looking for help.

Why can't one simple thing as getting a perscription filled be simplified without Big Brother looking over my shoulder and the shoulders of my Doctor and Pharmacist.
Once you get involved with the Govt, i.e. Medicare, you become a servant to the govt.

Common Sense, Support Tommy Crangle For Congress

On this day, Feb. 22, 2010, which used to be celebrated as President George Washington's Birthday, Common Sense in Washington must Prevail.

I have been quiet the last few weeks observing the day to day rapidly changing Political Landscape, It is a full-time job. President Obama's Magic Wand has not changed anything, just because he says it did. Democrat Politicians are resigning at an unpresidented rate ( to borrow one of the President's favorite words).
Democrat resignations are a symptom of Politicans who at least can see their future carrer has been plundered by Obama. True Progressive Democrat Congressman will gladly fall on their sword for Obama. They are so enamored with him, there is no cost they will not pay. The State controlled Media reporting is full of the Obama KoolAid, never reporting a "Bad" angle. A perfect example is the continuing denial of the largest hoax in history regarding Global Warming. The UN head of the Climate Change Dept. resigned, I would too ! Can anyone age 40 or over have ever imagined a time when you not could believe your President or your Media in the United States ?

The Conservative Tsunami is gaining strength and can be seen on the horizon.
The American People are awaking from their slumber. The movement to rebuild the Conservative Agenda is building steam quicker than a Three Mile Island Reactor on Steroids. Powerful forces as a movement sweep everything clean in their path, therefore the Tsunami analogy. Washinton DC must be swept, just as you sweep a dirty kitchen floor.

After much consideration, I am putting my full support behind Tommy Crangle to serve as the next Congressman from the State of Tennessee Third Dsitrict in the United States House of Representatives. Tommy is not a career Politican, he is one of us. He knows how to run a business, set deadlines, and meet them. We met and talked at length a couple of months ago. I posed questions straight out and to the point, the answers were the same. Tommy recognizes from the start, he will be a Representative of the People, Not a Politican who will move his agenda to suit a few.

Being Elected to any Public Service position from the bottom to the top, even the Oval Office, is always a Servant to the People. Washington has forgotten this one principal. A loud and clear reminder is on they way. When the Incumbents are removed they MUST NOT be allowed to be placed in other position in the Govt, period. If Obama or any other of his "staff" move these losers into his admninistration, they should be exposed and discraced for continuing this practice. When your'e done, you are DONE.

Next Saturday, Feb. 27 at 2PM - 5 PM, the Republican Candidates for the Third District Seat are debating at Woddland Park Baptist Church. I strongly recommend attending this very important meeting. After the debate, all Candidates will meet with the attendees and answer question and quite simply, let us see the people they are.

Please, Communicate to your Conservative Friends the gratitude all of us feel. A mighty blow has been struck, almost like the shot heard round the world at Concord. I saw the Bama this morning in an interview with George Stephanopolis on State Controlled Media saying the public is mad. He went on to say that the last 8 years were the root of it all. The man's ego will simply not allow him to admit he is the cause. Bush Bashing until the end, he will keep this up for three more years. He also said that he hasn't communicated enough to the American people. Crap, he hsa had 49 news conferences, 150+ interviews, even on billboards wearing some company's leather jackets.

What a load of crap. The public is so tired of seeing him, they don't even pay attention to what he says. If not for Fox news, no one could make out he is saying in his droneing on and on.

I am going to a Tea Party 1/30, where all the Republican candidates will be present to state their positions and then meet and greet for 2 hours. I have already met with one of them. Tommy Crangle, who is a retired engineer, has been to Iraq 6 times and was in charge of restoring the power grid. Because of my opinion pieces he invited me to have breakfast with him last week. If you use a Credit/Debit Card online, READ THIS

I feel it is my responsibility to tell everyone about what has happened.

I have used my Debit Card online for years to pay for Utilities, Comcast Bills, etc. Normal Transactions which I felt secure on. On 12/29/2009, I noticed 2 events. First, I noticed my Firewall blocking activity from somewhere. Second, I saw 2 pending transactions on my account for $1.01 each. They appeared to be from payment systems.

Further research showed they were actually Adult Website Payment Systems. After online research, I found phone numbers for these people, I use that term loosely.

When I called, 1 even had the gall to ask for my Card Number ! I told them "Hell NO". The "lady" said to "calm down", I again went off, telling her to not to tell me to calm down. Anyway, she told me the Login name used, something like Energy99 or something. I couldn't really understand her anyway.

I called the "other" and pretty much the same deal, except this time I got a "confirmation number", I bet thats a good one.

First, I swear on my Mother's Grave, I have NEVER went to Adult Sites or attempted any of this crap. I can't find any transaction that I have done that is the least bit questionable. Either my Firewall failed somehow or something was obtained, I don't have a clue.

I always have checked my Bank Account every day, seeing what pending and such. I urge everyone, check your activity daily.

My Bank has advised me not to worry. First we killed my card and ordered a new one.
They will refund these charges, Thank God. The Bank advised this happens alot. Beware, watch everything.

Those of us on fixed incomes are especially damaged by this activity. I hope that someone, somewhere, will go after these predators.

I question what I will pay online in the future, so should YOU!

Damn Bus Drivers

This morning, at 11:48 AM I met a Hamilton County School Bus heading North on Taft Highway, Signal Mtn, Dropping off kids in the snow.

The TDOT had not pre-treated the road this time, snow was laying and it was pretty slick. I met the bus about 100 yards after he had dropped of student and was still loaded, I could see the kids standing up.

This Driver was talking on the cell phone, his right hand to the ear and left on the wheel.

I want to know if this allowed, and if not, Enforce it !, If it is, somebody needs to think. This driver needed 100% concentration on the job at hand. I was driving a 4WD pickup and knew very well the road condition.

HCDE can't control the cell phones in the schools, They need to at least control what a driver with a busload of kids is doing.

A new Chapter for my Hopes, a voice, Finally

I am going to attend my first Tea Party Meeting. It is hosted by a group, Campaign for Liberty, they have a chapter here in Chattanooga. My last posting to Chattanoogan.com drew the usual attacks from the Libs, but some very encouraging words from others. I have been told about this grassroots effort and Damn It, I am going to do something.

Back in school, you were taught typing with the following. "Now is the Time for all good Men to come to the aid of their Country."

In present time, can you imaging the uproar of allowing children to type such a patiotic statement. Now more than ever, the above is true. We must come to the aid of this Republic. I know I will be classified as a closet blogger, sitting in the dark with an M-16, typing and clutching my Bible. The attacks will come. We must stand up and be counted. I do fear the rath of the Government. They control my very exsistance with my SSDI check, Medicare, and everything else. I can dragged to countless examination after examination. What ever happened to our Representative Government.

It is very plain, a Large Majority of the Citizens of the U.S.A. oppose, Climate Change (Fake), Cap and Tax, National Healthcare, Stimulus on Stimulus, Higher Taxes, and basically, everything the Administration has done since day one.

Why, are the Elected Represenatives ignoring the very people who elected them ? In Bannana Republics such as Venezuela, this is what goes, but not in the U.S.A.. We are becoming a weak, passive, herd of Sheep who allow those who believe they know better to run our lives. And if we dare not speak up, We get what we deserve.

It sickens me, everyday it is so open, what they are doing. They are not hiding what actions are occuring in Washington. They have the gall to stand up in front of us and tell us what will be.

Weither it be the Tea Party Party, The Republican Party, or whoever, a group must stand for the Constitution.

Look in the Mirror, who do you see. We can organize, right here in Chattanooga. We must band together somewhere, why not here ? Do any of you fear the local Government ? Do you fear being denied the Right of Free Speech by the local Administrations. I hope Not. I hope and pray we could begin a peaceful organization right here, right now, to mobilize and speak back. We must expose the lies and corruptions and the loss of our Cherished Freedoms.

I welcome any thoughts, anytime, we must do something. Complaining is a form of change, but only a thought. We will be discounted as nuts, Revelutionaries, Right-Wing Lunatics, the Lunatic Bible and Gun Toters. Freedom of Speech, The Right to Assembly. My Head is Exploding, Again

I Heard on the news this morning, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had pledged
$ 100,000,000,000.00 (100 Billion), to the meeting in Copenhagen. This fund or rather re-distribution of wealth, is to see that the under developed countries get funds from us Big, Bad, Polluting Countries. We are going to pay our dues.
And it is a Damn Lie, All of it !

At a time when Americans are suffering, 10 % unemployment, Social Sec recipients not receive any increases for 2+ years, this is Crap. Tonight, The fearless leader is going over and speak to the Global Warming Summit tomorrow, probably to apologize again for the USA.

What is the end to all this. This is a disaster. Conservatives keeping gunning for 2010. I don't even know if we can make it to the elections of 2010. Obama has moved so fast and reckless, what will happen in the next 11 months. How much can be undone. If Obama really believes what he is doing, he is either Mentally Deranged or a true Socialist intent on destroying this country.

The Russians, during the Cold War, said they would destroy us from within. Is Obama the product of a 50 year plan and he is the Stealth Weapon ?

News from Social Security and Big Pharma

Well, Here we go. Due to the fact that our cost of living has not gone up, (yeah right),Social Security Recipients will not have a raise in the next 2-3 years. Well, that means with the increase in Medicare A,B,D, and the increase of co-pays on prescription meds, I have calculated that we will be down at least $ 150+ per month.

I have known this for the last 3 months or so and was really relying on the Patient Assistance Programs I have with 5 different company's. I have began the annual renewal program with the PAP's and they are changing their rules. One provider, Purdue, Has decided that the medication they have will push you into the do-nut hole by April, then they will send it to you free.

This is a disaster. With Big Pharma scaling back and no COLA for 2-3 years, This is a plan that has been coming.

In a rare break in his public silence since leaving the Pentagon, Rumsfeld rejected the claim as a "bald misstatement" and "disservice" that cannot go unanswered.

"Such a bald misstatement, at least as it pertains to the period I served as secretary of defense, deserves a response," Rumsfeld said in a written statement. "I am not aware of a single request of that nature between 2001 and 2006."

The president leveled the charge in his speech Tuesday night outlining his plan to send 30,000 more U.S. troops into Afghanistan.

In his speech, Obama gave a detailed history of the Afghanistan war starting with the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks. He argued that the Iraq war drew needed resources away from Afghanistan, allowing the situation to deteriorate since 2003.

"Throughout this period, our troop levels in Afghanistan remained a fraction of what they were in Iraq," Obama said. "Commanders in Afghanistan repeatedly asked for support to deal with the reemergence of the Taliban, but these reinforcements did not arrive."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs explained Wednesday that Obama was referring to requests that came in during 2008, and suggested Rumsfeld was on thin ice with his criticism.

"I will let Secretary Rumsfeld explain ... whether he thinks that the effort in Afghanistan was sufficiently resourced during his tenure as secretary of defense," he said.

The former Pentagon chief said in his statement the White House should make public any such requests if they exist to back up the allegation.

"The president's assertion does a disservice to the truth and, in particular, to the thousands of men and women in uniform who have fought, served and sacrificed in Afghanistan," Rumsfeld said.

He urged Congress to review the claim in the upcoming debate to "determine exactly what requests were made, who made them, and where and why in the chain of command they were denied."

Unlike former Vice President Dick Cheney, Rumsfeld has kept largely out of the public eye since leaving the administration after the 2006 mid-term elections in which Republicans suffered huge losses, largely the result of setbacks in the Iraq war.

The Climate Change Hoax and The Sate Controlled Media

The rising discussion which seems to be absent even in Chattanooga about the Climate Change Hoax, is gaining ground. The State Controlled Media has not even mentioned the emails from the Scientist which created this hoax. The also ignored issues such as Rev. Wright, Bill Ayres, 90 days to decide on Troop Levels, and the fact that a Terror Attack was perpetrated at Fort Hood.

This is the largest Hoax in the History of Science. The emails which were revealed, described how that the original data, from which these men of science had formulated their theories, were destroyed. They claimed, they needed the space. The also discussed that the information and errors could not be revealed to the world. The world has been suckered. Anything that causes the redistribution of wealth should always be viewed with a critical eye.

After the initial claims were made by the Men of Science (MOS) that the world was entering another Ice Age, the world listened. Then, the MOS said no, the world is getting hotter, and the world listened. The climate change hoax, created the opportunity for governments and others to profit greatly. Fees, penalties, and cleanup charges began to amount. Then, the ultimate fee, Cap and Tax as well as Carbon Credits have surfaced. Just ask Al Gore.

Even our current President has side stepped the issue of the revealing of the MOS emails. He is going to Copenhagen next month, to placate the world and continue this Hoax. He will agree and continue his leveling of the playing field for the World. The United States, as a leader, is going to be brought down, not raising others with this hoax. If this information had surfaced on President George W. Bush's watch, the news cycle would be covered, 24 hours, on the State controlled Media. Congress, would have called for investigations. Textbooks are going to have to be re-written. This changes everything.

Why do you suppose that the UN would swallow all this ? Power and control.

Most recently the government has been found lying and making up data, now being spun as mistakes, about this year’s global temperatures to make it seem like a warmer year rather than the colder year it has been.

My Granddaughter from SMMHS and I discussed the above. She was shocked. All these years she has been taught that the Climate Change Hoax was real and the Polar Bears were all drowning. Well, she is know informed and hates being lied to. Maybe we should all ask for refunds on our EPB bills and other utilites on taxes, surcharges, and fund for "Green" Power. A First Hand Account of the Fort Hood Massacre

> Since I don't know when I'll sleep (it's 4 am now) I'll write what happened (the abbreviated version.....the long one is already part of the investigation with more to come). I'll not write about any part of the investigation that I've learned about since (as a witness I know more than I should since inevitably my JAG brothers and sisters are deeply involved in the investigation). Don't assume that most of the current media accounts are very accurate. They're not. They'll improve with time. Only those of us who were there really know what went down. But as they collate our statements they'll get it right.

As I'm walking up to it the gunshots start. Slow and methodical. But continuous. Two ambulatory wounded came out. Then two soldiers dragging a third who was covered in blood. Hearing the shots but not seeing the shooter, along with a couple other soldiers I stood in the street and yelled at everyone who came running that it was clear but to "RUN!". I kept motioning people fast. about 6-10 minutes later (the shooting continuous), two cops ran up. one male, one female. we pointed in the direction of the shots. they headed that way (the medical SRP building was about 50 meters away). then a lot more gunfire. a couple minutes later a balding man in ACU's came around the building carrying a pistol and holding it tactically. He started shooting at us and we all dived back to the cars behind us. I don't think he hit the couple other guys who were there. I did see the bullet holes later in the cars. First I went behind a tire and then looked under the body of the car. I've been trained how to respond to gunfire...but with my own weapon. To have no weapon I don't know how to explain what that felt like. I hadn't run away and stayed because I had thought about the consequences or anything like that. I wasn't thinking anything through. Please understand, there was no intention. I was just staying there because I didn't think about running. It never occurred to me that he might shoot me. Until he started shooting in my direction and I realized I was unarmed.

Then the female cop comes around the corner. He shoots her. (according to the news accounts she got a round into him. I believe it, I just didn't see it. he didn't go down.) She goes down. He starts reloading. He's fiddling with his mags. Weirdly he hasn't dropped the one that was in his weapon. He's holding the fresh one and the old one (you do that on the range when time is not of the essence but in combat you would just let the old mag go). I see the male cop around the left corner of the building. (I'm about 15-20 meters from the shooter.) I yell at the cop, "He's reloading, he's reloading. Shoot him! Shoot him!) You have to understand, everything was quiet at this point. The cop appears to hear me and comes around the corner and shoots the shooter.

He goes down. The cop kicks his weapon further away. I sprint up to the downed female cop. Another captain (I think he was with me behind the cars) comes up as well. She's bleeding profusely out of her thigh. We take our belts off and tourniquet her just like we've been trained (I hope we did it right...we didn't have any CLS (combat lifesaver) bags with their awesome tourniquets on us, so we worked with what we had).

Meanwhile, in the most bizarre moment of the day, a photographer was standing over us taking pictures. I suppose I'll be seeing those tomorrow. Then a soldier came up and identified himself as a medic. I then realized her weapon was lying there unsecured (and on "fire"). I stood over it and when I saw a cop yelled for him to come over and secure her weapon (I would have done so but I was worried someone would mistake me for a bad guy). I then went over to the shooter. He was unconscious. A Lt Colonel was there and had secured his primary weapon for the time being. He also had a revolver.

I couldn't believe he was one of ours. I didn't want to believe it. Then I saw his name and rank and realized this wasn't just some specialist with mental issues. At this point there was a guy there from CID and I asked him if he knew he was the shooter and had him secured. He said he did. I then went over the slaughter house...the medical SRP building. No human should ever have to see what that looked like, and I won't tell you. Just believe me. Please, there was nothing to be done there. Someone then said there was someone critically wounded around the corner. I ran around (while seeing this floor to ceiling window that someone had jumped through movie style) and saw a large African-American soldier lying on his back with two or three soldiers attending. I ran up and identified two entrance wounds on the right side of his stomach, one exit wound on the left side and one head wound. He was not bleeding externally from the stomach wounds (though almost certainly internally) but was bleeding from the head wound.

A soldier was using a shirt to try and stop the head bleeding. He was conscious so I began talking to him to keep him so. He was 42, from North Carolina, he was named something Jr., his son was named something III and he had a daughter as well. His children lived with him. He was divorced. I told him the blubber on his stomach saved his life. He smiled. A young soldier in civvies showed up and identified himself as a combat medic. We debated whether to put him on the back of a pickup truck. A doctor (well, an audiologist) showed up and said you can't move him, he has a head wound. We finally sat tight. I went back to the slaughterhouse. They weren't letting anyone in there not even medics.

Finally, after about 45 minutes had elapsed some cops showed up in tactical vests. Someone said the TBI building was unsecured. They headed into there. All of a sudden a couple more shots were fired. People shouted there was a second shooter. A half hour later the SWAT showed up. There was no second shooter, that had been an impetuous cop apparently. But that confused things for a while. Meanwhile, I went back to the shooter. The female cop had been taken away,and a medic was pumping plasma into the shooter. I'm not proud of this but I went up to her and said "this is the shooter, is there anyone else who needs attention...do them first". She indicated everyone else living was attended to. I still hadn't seen any EMTs or ambulances. I had so much blood on me that people kept asking me if I was ok. But that was all other people's blood. Eventually, (an hour and a half to two hours after the shootings) they started landing choppers. They took out the big African American guy and the shooter. I guess the ambulatory wounded were all at the SRP building. Everyone else in my area was dead.

Ok, This is it !

If I hear one more word about Islam being a peaceful religion, my head is going to explode.

We have witnessed a new Terror attack on the soil of The United States of America. The perp, who committed the massacre at Fort Hood, does not even deserve his name mentioned, in the gibberish of such a language. He is now, Perp.

Perp recieved a Medical Degree at OUR expense. Perp reached the rank of Major. So, The drive by Media will examine what stresses the US Military Complex placed upon this peaceful Muslim man. No doubt he lived a stressful life, yeah, right.
He researched Suicide Bombers, but I guess he did not have the gonads to blow himself up. He planned this ahead of time. He did not get up this morning and say "I think I'll go shoot some soldiers".

Witnesses stated he said "Allah Akbar", prior to opening fire. How long has this been cooking? Is he a one man cell, or the one that drew the short straw last night.
This has pushed me to the edge. I am angry to the point of being ill.
When is America going wake up, realize we are at war with an unseen enemy, waiting for a moment to strike ? Can you imagine the feelings of all soldiers, in all theaters, when they learned of this massacre.

Our fearless leader, this morning, at a conference on a Native American Issue at the Dept of Interior, went two minutes into his speech, thanking this person, that person, promising more help to the Native Americans before he touched upon the Massacre. The Massacre, should have been the first thing out of his mouth, with anger and resolve. But not Obama, he doesn't want to offend the Muslim world by quite simply raising Hell. I can imagine President George W. Bush's response,both to the public and privately.

Yesterday, 20 year old woman, whose Iraqi father had decided she was to westernized, died from injuries sustained when he ran over her with a car, peacefully. Think of the 17 year old who is now a Christian who feared her life, but our court system ordered back to Ohio, where she feels the threat of death because she has converted to Christianity.

Pray for our Soldiers, the families, and our Country. We are under attack, but we make nice.

Thoughts on our Society

I have a lot of time to think being disabled. I listen to the Talk Radio Shows, watch Fox News, read Blogs and of course read Chattanoogan.com several times a day.
Being born in 1956, I witnessed the turmoils of the 60's, the Vietnam War, (which I barely missed), and the other decades. I have no memory of a more stressful time in our History than right now.
I think the average American Citizen is under a stress level that has not been experienced to this degree than any other generation.
We live in a time of instant news, from around the world. Back in the Vietnam War days, I remember sitting in front of the TV and hearing Walter Cronkite give the daily tally of American Deaths, VC deaths. Now, we know about soldiers dying before the dust settles. Baghdad, where we have worked so hard to help establish a democracy, a free standing government, some idiots blow up themselves in two truck bombs and kill 155 people with untold injured.

Our finances are shot. The government has decided there has been no cost of living increase, therefore SSI and SSDI recipients get no Cost of Living Increase for 2 years. But Medicare is going up $10.00 a month, Medicare D about the same, so really we have gotten a cut in pay. And of course we find this instantly. The Congress voted in a raise for themselves and government employees are getting raises, I guess for the fine job they are doing.Gas prices are going up, fast, but we are reminded by the drive by media that it's alot less than last year. Who gives a hairy rats butt, money is money. We were in trouble then and we are in trouble now.

Health care is headed for a disaster, where someone like myself, who is not a contributor to society, may not receive the care I need. MS is an expensive disease to maintain and thanks to Medical Science, I am still walking around after 20+ years diagnosed.

Sick, Insane, worthless less than human animals are wondering the streets and killing kids, it's all over the news.

President Obama has played more rounds of golf so far in his term that W did during his entire term. Troops are dying in Afghanistan, while he decides if they need more troops, What a crock. Him and Miss Michelle live like royalty, flying around as if Jet fuel and all the security is free.
Chattanooga is basking in the VW plant building here,but, If people can't afford them, that won't last long. The local media is so eat up with the VW deal, the idea of looking if they can sell these vehicle is not mentioned. And let's not forget the Millions and Millions of dollars spent to bring them here. This plant was bought on the backs of the taxpayers. Does anyone wonder why Chattanooga is annexing more areas, they need more tax money.

No wonder so many people are on anti-depressants, We live in times like no other, how do you stay calm, unless you are on the "right" side and making money in some of the scams.

feel flattered that several Chattanoogan .com readers have requested that I post an opinion piece. I wonder sometimes if anyone reads my rants and it appears so.

I have several issues on my mind, so here we go.

Signal Mountain Red light cams and roving speeding cameras. I have stayed away from this issue for the fact that Chief Veal is a personal friend of mine. He is a man of integrity, but he is a Town employee.The pressure he is feeling is from above. The gentleman who put on the "safety" presentation was trying to "sell" an idea. I posted the income Red Bank received from their cameras, demonstrating what a cash cow they have in their fair town. It is simply amazing the amount of money they have received, with little or no labor required from the police department. That would be a dream job for an officer, reviewing videos all day.writing tickets. Monday thru Friday, 8-5, Take home cruiser, retirement, insurance, holidays off, all the other perks. Even with my disability, I could do that job.The citizens have no recourse, pay it or get a further citation, pay the price. I know of no one who has tried to fight it in Red Bank, They have you dead to right. Over $600,000 in 6 months is not bad, if Signal Mtn gets 25 %, they are rolling.Chief Veal will try to push back, but the Town Council and the powers that be will use him as a fall guy. He will take the heat and they take the money. Every officer has a take home car now, I honestly don't know how they will spend their days. Another note, Concerned citizens in a town up north which slips my mind, a group of 50 peaceful citizens surrounded a speed van, blocking the view. The van left. I am sure in Red Bank, They would have be escorted to the county jail, interfering with official police business. I guess civil disobedience is against the law.

One of the other contributors alluded that Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Haniity, and the other Talk Radio personalities are pushing for dangerous actions that their listeners may do. The freedom of speech is under attack by the White House targeting FOX news7. I am an avid listeners to these three patriots. I buy their books. The truth is always scolded, criticized, and pushed aside. There are Americans who still believe in the Constitution and free Speech. Wrongdoers, when subjected to the light of truth, scream discrimination. The "Chicago Way" of doing political business has come to Washington. I am not saying there was not corruption before,but it has grown by leaps and bounds. Glen Beck had a monologue the other day that struck home. With every issue that the govt is pushng, another person would say Why. This went on for 10 minutes. One Example, " we need health care reform now!" "Why" Because people are dying" "why" " Because they they don't have health care" "Why" " Because the govt wont act" "Why" " because the Republicans wont act" "Why" You get my drift.
Our Grandchildren and probably their children are saddled with Obama's "Emergency" actions.10 months in office, how is that Hope and change working for you ?

Bribery of the Social Security Recipients. I am on SSDI due to an illness, So is my wife We did not select this, nor did we want it. We were both on the corporate ladder of Major Corporations and had a very bright future. The Illnesses stepped in and slapped us in the face and we made sacrifices. This year, despite the govt spending money like it's going out of style.We received word that we would not receive any cost of living increases for at least 2 more years. I researched the Medicare site and their cost will increase and average of $10 per month. Medicare part D, for Scripts coverage will go up about $ 10 also. But the real kicker is the the co-pay for the meds, will go up also, with some meds moving into a different tier, which can greatly increase the cost per script. Bottom line, We are getting burned on Medicare. And with Obamacare coming, Who knows what will happen as we haven't seen the bill in it's final form. The Bribery that is sopposed to warm our hearts and endear our leader to us is the "proposed" $250 per recipient which yet has to pass Congress.

While on the subject of Congress, They have voted themselves a raise this year, increased the great Medical coverage they have.

Now to to the Obama's. It's the little thing that count. While trying to influence he I..O.C. with their charisma, They flew on two separate jet,s, to Paris. How about that saving and sacrifice

Social Security Recipts Beware

Social Security recipients are there because of two major factors. They either have retired and are drawing their handout and having medical care thru Medicare. The other group is the disabled. Thru no fault of their own, they are living on what the govt said they get and how to manage their medical care, of course remember, they know better.

The facts came out today. Medicare A/B is increasing almost $ 10 per month. I know Medicare D will follow it's annual increase.
The govt, in their wisdom has decided there is negative inflation, therefore for the first time since the annual cost of living increase was inacted, we get no increase. The total out come (final solution) is, we are losing money. I cannot help believe that is calculated and now, with the benevolence of our Supreme Leader, we May recieve a $ 250 handout to endear our Supreme Leader to our hearts and break even on Medicare A/B but not the evil drug expenses.

This is but one very small piece of a puzzle as large as the US Governement itself. I don't want to sound like a conspiracy nut, but, there are people paid, to study how to make changes and push the agenda in the direction desired. We are but pawns in a very large chessgame, with an end we do not desire.

Where is the money for the Disabled, Obama recieved a Noble Peace Prize for this, must read.

I have a relative who has a wife and two young children. His Back is a wreck. I saw a MRI report from his last attempt to work, which ended in an Ambulance Ride to a Hospital. He cannot work any longer, period. He can't sit or stand for any period of time. He cannot lift objects of any weight. Too many years of heavy work in Sawmills and such have ended his career at 40 years of age.

His wife works for a local Hospice Service, going as hard as she can. The two children need medical care and last Friday, her Helath Insurance kicked in. She is paying almost $ 400 per month on the Insurance. The On job Injury, occured in Texas. The Workman's Comp has not paid the Medical Bills there and they are recieving ongoing threats of Lawsuits from there. No Attorney in Chattanooga is interested in pursuing the case in Texas for some reason I do not understand. They are living in a 1 bedroom effeciency in Sequatchie County.

She went to the local SETHRA Office and inquired about schedule 8 housing assistance, as they not going to make it. The Sethra Office says they have over 200 applicants for this assistance, but they have no money.

Well, I have gotten involved, heres the story.
SETHRA says they have not recieved any funds for the Housing. SETHRA covers 9 Counties in SE Tennessee. I asked the SETHRA rep where they get their funds. She advised me the Federal Government, HUD. I went to the HUD website, and researched funding for Schedule 8. The website advised that funds are sent to the "cities".
I called HUD's office in Knoxville. The lady I got on the phone did not want to even give her name. Finally she said something, but you could not understand it. She said, Money is available, thru the cities. I called, the City of Dunlap, and inquired about this information. The lady there, named Kathy, said The City, never has had that money, it all goes to SETHRA and they hanlde that.
I called Sethra back, could not get ahold of anyone and left another message for them to call. Of course, today being Columbus Day, I am sure all these offices are closed.

I noticed some glaring conflicts on the SETHRA site, which bother me.For an Organization which is out of money, why are they staffed and open ? If they can't do anything, where is the money coming from for the services.

Why can't I get a simple answer to a question. Everybody I spoke with talked in circles and pointed at each other. It's not their problem. Star Power fails the President, Michelle, and Oprah

Oh, the shock of it all. It was assumed that the Obama's presence before the International Olympic Committe in Copenhagen, Denmark, would cause the 2016 Olympic Games to be held in Chicago, would be an absolute slam dunk.

This morning on Fox News, The announcement site in downtown Chicago was being readied. A stage being errected, AT&T trucks everywhere, installing the needed miles and miles of high tech communications needed for the reporters, etc.. At this time, I haven't heard the expenses involved just in the preperation.( Update, see Below) There was even a giant Gold medal hanging around the neck of what appears to be a modern day abstract sculpture of a giant baboon.

I am sorry, I appreciare fine art and sculpture of true human beings, etc. This sculpture, made from medal, looks like a cross between a Transformer Character and some childs drawing of a monkey, converted to a metal sculpture. The Gold medal placed around it's neck, really had a strange look. Many protesters were villified for not wanting the Olympic games. Their favorite point was "Jobs not Games".

The recent crime video of the fatal beating of the 16 year old in Chicago could have weighed on the judges minds.

The Obamas thought the prestige and history making event of being the first President to honor the Olympic group would just cause the judges to be Star-Struck. Well, they may Royality here, in their own minds, but to these unbiased people, perhaps it was overexposure. The President, The First lady, suffer from a condition known as Celebrtyitius. If you speak amongst the masses, over 125 announcments, even the world can get weary of see you. Maybe the judges are as tired of seeing him as we are.

I would like to be a fly on the wall on Air Force 1, with Barack, Michelle, and Oprah. The knashing of teeth, the unbelief, the depression. Instead of returning as the "ONE" who makes all side with him, He has been defeated, and sent home. We have work to do and your'e not in it.

I am sure the throngs (12,000) that had assembled at the large baboon statue are in shock. The city spent 50 Million Dollars, yes, 50 Million, trying obatin the games. I guess there went the pot-hole repair budget.

Obama and Co now returns to the mundane life of a President fighting two wars, having to talk to the Commanders, evidentualy, deal with the Helth Care plan which is in trouble everywhere. The Public is fighting tooth and nail to stop the Health Care Overhaul, much to Obama's dismay. Even there, he thought his Telepropmter abilities would blow it thru. Now The Olympic Commitee has hurt him where it hust most, His enormous ego.

Congrats, the the I.O.C. on their not being star struck, not selecting Chicgo just because the Boss wants it. This may be not a chink but a gaping hole in Obama's shining Armor. He may have to adjust his taste for adoration, and accept the "Agony of Defeat" ( sports analogy ).

Americans with Brains will see this for what has happened. He can be defeated, it is not impossible. I can only hope, this armor defect, will be only the beginning.

Somebody is going to have to take all the decals "Chicago 2016" off the 747 that was specially prepared.

Have strength of heart my friends, this could be only the beginning. I bet Valerie Jarrett is having a stroke, all that Chicago property (slums) that was going to be used for this at ultra-premium prices is gone. She is going to have to fix them up and call in the Exterminators.

Trying to Stay on topic

When you write a blog, the general impression is that you should devote your writing to a basic issue or condition. I have based my writings on the experiences of being disabled with Multiple Sclerosis. I have received emails saying I am getting off topic because I cover Politics, Life issues, Health care problems, and pretty much anything else that crosses my mind. The point is, everything I write is related to MS, everything.

MS drives my daily life, my contempt for waste in Government. I see a future which is going to be a daily struggle, much worse than it is now. I have written before about the titles you have to assume just to manage your life when you are dependent on the government for your very exsistence.

The Health Care issue is a disaster in the making. I won't cover it again, everyone knows the facts and what the Obama administration wants and desires. Americans are finally waking up, speaking out, and letting Washington know we are here.

I know, I am just a lone voice, speaking to probably just a few. I have tried to get my Blog expanded to a larger audience, but really haven't been sucessfull. Maybe one day, I will get noticed, discovered, whatever. I am a frequent contributor to Chattanoogan.com and have received both positive and negative responses. I fully expect critics when I attack the establishment. It is a very good feeling when you write from your heart regarding your country and you get personal emails agreeing and supporting your views.

MS has given me the time, the frustration and experiences to fine tune my mind. I am very observant, paying attention to all the news and yes, connecting the dots. If you could find a white board big enough, you can chart out the Obamamites. It is very scary when you see the connections. This has all been a long time coming, planed and replaned.

I know the Country is in peril. Yes, I am off topic of MS, but really, I am RIGHT ON TARGET

Big Brother is watching and taking your money !

My wife and I have shopped in Red Bank Off and on for years. I remember when Shoney's was there and that breakfast bar hasn't helped my fiqure. You could go to the old Cancun and get a great Mexican meal. I wondered the Isles of the appliance store at the corner of Ashland Terrace and Dayton Blvd several times, picking up repair parts or window shopping for a new range. I really liked their sidewalk and tent sales, but they weren't approved by the City.

See the connection. The three examlpes I gave off the top of my head are gone. But a new attraction has taken hold with a very different effect, Traffic Light ENFORCEMENT Cameras.

On Aug 12, 2009, My wife, Deanna, was traveling north on Dayton Blvd to the intersection where the Camera is installed at Signal Mountain Road. You know, the one where the great Hamburger Resturant used to be. She was in a line of perhaps five cars in the turn lane. It was warm day, Deanna was tired and played follow the leader thru the light. Yes, she did run the light. The car in front of her ran the light. The car in front of him ran the 3 second yellow, and the green Dodge pickup in front of her was in the intersection on a yellow arrow. I am not disputing the fact that yes, she was in the intersection when the red light had came on. Here's my problem.

We recieved her "citation"/Bill on or about 8/30 or so. It had been reviewed by an offiicer and signed by him. Thats the Police Officer job I want, staying in the cool office, drinking coffee, going to lunch at a regular time, and after my day is done, leave at a regular hour and play with the kids momma. Most Police Officers don't have this kinda job but who knows, maybe more in the future.

I studied the ticket, went online and saw the offense in Living color, steaming video on my computer at a website provided on the citation/bill. Next I did something different. Armed with my camcorder, I went to Red Bank. Beginning with Traffic Light 1, I studied and Taped each light. I recorded duration times, observed traffic patterens and spent almost 3 hours, even about 30 minutes across from the Police Department studying their light. All day no one asked me what are you doing, why are you taping, are you a terrorist with a beard, nothing. But that's another story.

My study after I came home and prepared it on computer yielded very little results, except one. Turn Arrow yellows are set at three seconds. This setting has been critized nationwide by a group headed by from Senator Dick Armey. They contend that the 3 second yellow creates a point of no return, where if you go, you get a ticket, if you stop, you risk a rear end collison, which has been documented,

You can do a Google search on Red Light Cameras and get a boatload of info.

I think I also found in my research the real reason for this, as in all things, Money. The City of Gallatin Tn put in Red Light Cameras. Their annual revenue from violations at lights and such was around $ 100 K. Well, after the installation in an effort to reduce injuries, in the public interest, their income last year was over $ 1,000,000, yeah 1 Million Dollars. But remember, it is for your own good, never to pad the coffers of city government. .

I examined one of the agreements that the companies have with these cities. It was on a sliding scale. The first year, the co gets say 62%, the next 58%, the next 52, you get the picture, and that from each citation/bill. And since these citation/bills don't go on your driving record, most people just go ahead and pay it.

If everyone benefited from this enforcement i.e. no one runs lights anymore, the company would go broke. They know this is not to happen. Can anyone believe Gallatin wants everyone to obey the law, I'll bet you a $ 1,000,000 not.

Some states have ruled these systems unconstitutional, since you can't question a camera. Like I said in my opening, I can not find a real valid reason to go to Red Bank anymore. I can find everything they have somewhere else, even Darr's Shooting Supplies is gone, ( oops, I own a gun ).

Redbankistan citizens will have to endure. But remember, those good looking Dodge Charger Patrol Cars had to be bought with something. I have talked to several people who have gotten these tickets, they did not object, go to court, anything, they just Obeyed. They thought it was great it wasn't going on their DL record, it's only $ 50.00

We are living in a time like no other. Thursday afternoon, First Lady Michelle Obama decided that she need some special kale for a recipe.
This is The New York Times description of the event.
Here's how Michelle Obama handled this very predicament Thursday afternoon:
The Secret Service and the D.C. police brought in three dozen vehicles and shut down H Street, Vermont Avenue, two lanes of I Street and an entrance to the McPherson Square Metro station. They swept the area, in front of the Department of Veterans Affairs, with bomb-sniffing dogs and installed magnetometers in the middle of the street, put up barricades to keep pedestrians out, and took positions with binoculars atop trucks. Though the produce stand was only a block or so from the White House, the first lady hopped into her armored limousine and pulled into the market amid the wail of sirens.
Ok, here's the deal. Before anyone starts screaming, this is a little much. I would love to see an expense report on what this outing about one block away from the White House cost. Why couldn't she have sent a staffer to pick up what she wanted and the have the staffer send her a picture and or oral decription of the Kale. The citizens of this country are going thru very hard times, DUH ! This is not going to sit well with the general puiblic. When the President says we need to give, share, accept hard times his message is overrode by such Royal behavior.

Managing Your time with Multiple Sclerosis

Ever Since May 1990, when I was diagnosed with MS, I have been an Office Manager, Records Supervisor, Resource Manager, Pharma Contact, and Disability Advocate.

MS will do one of two things, either you become the things I have listed above or you simply follow the instructions of others. When diagnosed I decided I was first going to learn everything I could about the disease. After I felt like I had a handle on the problem, I moved on to how to best manage my situation.

After my inability to work 60 hours a week as required being a U-Haul salaried employee became apparent, I was forced to go on short term U-Haul Disability. Six Months later, I was told to file on Social Security for Long Term Disability. Ok, I did as told. Low and behold, I am accepted after the first filing. I was confused the next month when a check appears in my mailbox. I even called Social Security and asked them why I had the check. Little did I know what accepting the check would mean.

Don't get me wrong, I was thrilled to have been accepted so quickly, thanks to the great record keeping of my Neurologist. Then everything began. First U-Haul said I had been overpaid 1 month and held my benefits until the months paid back them. Thats was the moment I realized that I had to become all the things listed above.

I have to fill out paperwork every year for U-Haul to make sure I still have MS. The Doctors, much to their dismay, have to fill out their portion and mail it to the Disability Section. Now, I have to ask them to make me a copy for my files. If they don't return it in time and or word it correctly, No check at the end of the month.

I have maintained records on Social Security, Medicare, U-Haul, Met Life, Tenncare, and Pharma Companies. When Medicare D was passed, I was thankful, and still am. But, there's always a But. If you take alot of Meds or if 1 is really expensive, You will Hit the imfamous "DONUT HOLE" about mid year. Then you have no coverage for your meds, until You have spent $ 4500 out of your pocket. Well, I never have spent the $ 4500. What I had to do was contact the manufacturers of every medication I take and ask if they had a Patient Assistance Program.

I have found that Pharma Companies are really great. All but one, Eli Lilly, were more than happy to help. Some required a small payment, other, no charge at all. My Doctor even now as advised me that Eli Lilly has came up with a PAP for the Donut Hole as well. I keep detailed records on all my Med contacts, when the program has to be renewed, etc.

What I fear now, If Obamacare should come to pass, can the Pharma Companies afford to heep us ? Will they be penalized, controlled in what they can do ? Will they be fined because it is "unfair" to help us when our Medicare D is tapped out ?

I am sure whatever happens, the Medicare patients are going to suffer more cuts. I know that my record keeping is about to double, from every arm of the Gov't I deal with.

My advice to anyone who reads this. Keep very good records. I don't know what job you performed before you were met with MS or any other Disease, but you now have all the titles above.

I waited with anticipation on President Obama's speech regarding Health Care.

It was just another Campaign Speech, rewound and reworked.

Congressman Joe Wilson was the most informative speaker of the night, no frills, no spin, just the truth. That man deserves a Medal of Freedom for standing up to the unapproachable Emperor. Americans have been trying to stand up to this man since the Tea Parties and Town Halls began. The entire administration acts as though we just don't exsist, or we are crazy. My other posts have resulted in some pretty strong kickbacks, insults, and wanting to know what planet I am from. Well, Third Rock from the Sun and the Greatest Nation on that Rock, The United States of America.

The last count I had was Obama had held 119 addresses to anyone who will listen to him since his Crowning. He must enjoy the sound of his own voice. If anyone ever puts a speaker with a replay button under his Offical Portrait that plays some of his speeches, I hope it comes with a recliner because the listener will be there a while.

On Monday, he will make an address on Wall Street, probably to take credit for the so called improvement in our economy. I was in Nashville today and happened to pick up a newspaper. The were 17 pages, solid, of Legal Notices regarding home foreclosure. I don't think we have turned the corner yet. On the way out, I saw closed businesses, empty car dealerships, boarded up windows, How's that change working out for Nashville now.

On this Anniversary of The Worst Attack on American soil, we must remember that the Terrorist and those who hate us in general do not want to make nice. They understand one thing, the blast of a 50 Caliber Sniper Rifle, when a US Marine takes out another Taliban, Alqueda, or whatever the next islamic nut on the Menu is. That they understand.

And one last thing before I go, I had predicted that during the Obama Speech to the cxhildren, a Healthcare question would come from the mouth of a child and it happened. I was called crazy for that one too. I did not have to look into a crystal ball to figure that one out, just look back at how these people operate, it should be obvious to everyone.

Also, Congrats, To SMMHS and Thrasher Elementary for not broadcasting the indoctrination to children special. I can't find out what other HCDE schools stood up but, good job for those that did.

Obama to put the Kids to work selling Obamacare...

Next Tuesday, September 8, President is going to have a Nationwide "News Confrence" broadcast on C-Span and Thw White House website. The stated of purpose is to encourage children to stay in school and do well. I believe, as in previous "town-hall" type meetings, he will have a child planted, who with tears in his eyes, will say " Mommy and Daddy can't take me to the Doctor and I have been sick, they have no money or insurance, please help me Mr. president".

That will open the door for Obama to tell the children of this Nation if only all these mean spirited protesters would support him, that he knows best how to help this child. The White House has already sent out information to each State's Governor, explaining his veiled purpose. They in turn have sent out information to each school district, who can participate or decide not to.

Now, let's get to the root of everything, Money. After this educational broadcast, lets say each state reports to the White House which districts supported the President and showed his info, or opted out. When it comes time to hand out the stimulus money for a school, don't anyone realize if you did not support his "tv special", your request will probably go to the bottom of the pile of requests. I assure you someone in the White House is tracking all this and making a list and checking it twice.

I am sure out there in Internet land there are people skilled in subliminal messages. I hope the watch this over and over and look for long lasting statements that will stay in these childrens minds. I have believed from the get go, Obama has a reason, a plan, for everything he does, not just the obvious. On the news this morning it was reported that HCDE said it was the dcision of the principal as to weither the children view this program or not.

Parents, it is your decision. Many have said their child we be kept home that day.

Remember, there is a reason for everything.

Be aware, do not keep your guard down.

Just imagine, during very early construction, you are selected as the Principal of Hamilton County's, Signal Mountains' ,Flagship. During the construction phase, you observe the best of everything being brought in. Equipment is second to none. Electronic and high tech communications, multi media, and the premier quality of the products are amazing. The Mountain Education Fund is at your becon call, with their checkbook in hand. HDTV'S are in the hallway, High Tech is everywhere,

This is education utopia, and as Principal, you are looked upon as the Captain of this glorius ship.

One of your teacher/friends has a problem, his credintials have some "minor" problems, but being he is your dear friend, a teacher, and you even attending his wedding, it's ok to "bend " the rules a little and fix his problems, after all you are the Principal of SMMHS, who will question your authitory.The sad news is after the wedding, it came out the great teacher, who students really liked, was selling illegal prescription drugs obtained thru his wife, who worked at Walgreens.

The high obtained from being in such a position obscured the problems you may have caused for students due to this "minor" problem.

I have a grandaughter now in my opinion at much better school, who although a Junior, will face whatever remedies Gravitte has brought upon her.

I caught Hell from a lot of Chattanoogan readers, of course from Signal Mtn, when I complained about Mr. Gravitte allowing cell phone useage in school. I have a witness who has seen texting constantly going on in class, regardless of my critics, I stand by my source. I sincerely hope that Mr. Gravitte's replacement will be given a set of the rules of the HCDE and enforce them to the letter. One of which simply states, NO Cell Phones in school. Mr. gravitte did not have the authority to "bend " this rule as he attempted to bend others.

I hope the new principal conducts a full investigation of all the goings on, the presence and influence of the Founder's Fund, Friends of the School, Mountain Eduction Fund or whatever else today's name is. He needs to exaimine their place in this system, period, and decide who is going to run it, him or them.

Also, I have Info that PTA officials have positions within the school administration. If this is the case, they have access to sensitve student files, financial records and other paperwork which should be confidential except to HCDE employees with a security level to review them.

Mr. Gravitte is on paid leave, until they find another position for him in HCDE. I have never heard of someone being caught falsifying records, and being being retained and paid. In the real Coroporate world, Security escorts to the Door, with a file box of personal items period. What is the Deal? Once you go to work for these people they can't fire you"

Medicare Cuts, Really need some thought

I spend my spare time listening to Talk Radio, and only watch Fox News, to attempt to get the truth.
Being dependent on Medicare A,B, and D, also a recpient of SSDI, I depend perhaps too much on the Gov't for my very exstsence.
I have an unique situation, though not a pleasant issue, still very worrysome.

My father died at 58, with Colon Cancer, before public awareness was high. When diagnosed he demanded his brother and 4 sisters be checked. Well, His brother had it then, 2 other sisters had polyps. In the end a total of 4 have died of Colon Cancer since 1982.

Needless to say, I am at risk. I had my first Colonoscopy at 25 and have had one every 3 years since. I have had various polyps removed thru the years. One Doctor tried to talk me into an exam every 5 years instead of 3, I switched doctors.

If Obama makes his cuts in Medicare to pay for this explosion of spending, will I be cut back to 7 years or more. If they find a polyp, even a small one, do they have to leave it until "next time".

If they make cuts just on this one issue, how many thousand of lives can be affected, who knows.

Being that I will have no alternative to do as they say, will I face the possibility of an early death to a very preventable disease.

Everyone over 50 must have this done, it's not bad, believe me. The prep is uncomfortable, but the actual procedure is nothing. I have gotten off the table and gone to Cracker Barrel for Breakfast, due to the advancement in meds that bring you out quickly.

Please look at this one example and see if there is a condition that requires maintenance. Look, really hard. The "Death advisors" might be at your home for a reason that could have been prevented.

The US 127 Yard Sale and it's review, 634 miles

The World's Largest Yard sale and what it means to the local residents

U.S. Hwy 127 Stretches from West Unity , Ohio to Gadsden, Alabama. A total of 634 Miles.

U.S. 127 is not some 4 lane highway that moves along quickly, It moves through rural areas of states. Kinda gives you that homey feeling. Money, as in all things, seems to be the driving force behind this enterprise. Residents and small businesses along the route profit from dividng their road frontage into rentalable spots, That is the first income.Next, you have other residents who collect "stuff" all year for "the sale". Some towns, such as Signal Mountain, TN and Walden, TN have passed laws forbiding sales in their areas. But, when you clear that town or city limit, it's Katy bar the door. I live in a pure county area, open for all to set up. About 1/2 mile from me there is a gentleman who has a beautiful, large yard, he has been setting up tents for 2 weeks. Then there is the Lone Oak Civic Center/Fire Dept/And I even think there is a church meets there too, I don't know. They have all kinds of space and are more that happy to rent all they can.

The victims of this fiacso is the residents that live along US 127. I can't speek for Alabama or the other states. but this mountain is a great area to live in. The sale was only supposed to start last Thursday and end today because school starts, but it really got wound up about a week ago. Believe it or not I even saw someone selling a 2 holer seat out of an outside toilet, that would be nice to hang in you home, I guess.

For 1 week, It has been near impossible to get around up here. I was coming home yeasterday and got in site of my driveway, I jumped the ditch, drove down the bank, got my mail and defiantely got in my truck and parked as usual. The Traffic Friday Was Bumper to Bumper from here to the Signal Mtn Traffic Light. I had to go to the drug store and used the back trails to get

home.

The headquarters for this sale is in Jamestown, Tn. I am sure it has become a cash cow for many. I would love to know how the powers that that be charge profit from this, I assure it is not out of the goodness of their hearts. Three years ago ago they tried a weeklong sale, weekend thru weekend, it did not work out.

They say when you complain, have a solution. Why not have it the fall of the year whe it's not in the 90's. also, run the route thru areas of sale. Like VERY rural areas where farmers would be happy to rent a 30 acre field, not in my front yard.

I guess I am the talk of the Mtn, I posted a yellow caution tape on stakes driven into the ground, surrounding the property. Two reason, One morning my first year here, I woke up to have a front yard full of vehicles, the next morning, was sitting on the back porch with my wife about8 o'clock drinking coffee when 4 people came walking around the house. That was it.

My yard looks like a crime scene, sorry, last time I chacked it was mine, not the Jamestown powers that be,,,

And the Healthcare battle rages

Being the fact that I am the odd combination of Conservative and Social Security Disability Recipient (SSDI), my observations on the Obamacare bill are a little different.

I am totally dependent on the government for my survival, not to mention my wife, who is also a SSDI recpeient. Mine is due to Multiple Sclerosis and her's a combination of Meniere's Disease and Fibromyalgia.

I am an avid listener of Neal Boortz, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, and Fred Thompson, with a smattering of Monica Crowley mixed in. I am an avid, almost addicted to Fox News, knowing that I can believe what they say, nothing can be more obvious because I make it a point to watch one of Major Networks each evening during their nightly broadcast. By keeping them accountable, the bias and love affair they have for Barrack Hussein Obama is very obvious. Sometimes it is unbelieveable the stark difference that appears.

Alright, lets get to the Healthcare bill. I have two trains of thought on this. 1, the provisions and vague wording they have written can be interpreted in many ways, Which is really scary. You read the wording one way, and it is all good, If you read it from a controlling stand point, the American Public will become pawns, their lives and exsistence based on their age, are they worth being saved, etc.

The second thought I have is this is all a cover. Bring the full attention of the American People to something they will be consumed with, and underneath, pass all the legislation you want, changing everything. Then, without a fight, the Obamamites have slipped you a mickey and you liked it.

I have had critics read my opinions and critize me for being on SSDI and having enough since to take note and voice and opinion. They have said that they resent the fact I am on SSDI and have the gall to speak out against the very government that supports me. I DID NOT ask to be in the position I am in. I do have cognitive problems at times, but I have a right to a voice and a right to speak for myself.

A 1300 and growing page bill, with every commitee and his dog adding their goodies, has no end. I am concerned naturally about what cuts Medicare will face. For instance, I have to have an MRI every 3-4 years to compare disease progression in my brain. I recently had one and am very proud to announce that thanks for Betaseron ( Which I qualify as a hardship case on), has kept me from having no progression in the disease. They cannot undo the damage that has been done, nor can they prevent the worsening of my symptoms, but these people are angels. Betaseron runs between $1800 and $2200 per month. When I saw my co-pay under Medicare D, it was going to exceed $ 500 per month. I contacted Bayer/Betaseron and they did not bat an eye, $ 75.00 per for three months supply. They have saved ny life.

I want to know, not it Lawyer Language, what is the paln for Medicare A,B, and D.Our co-pays on fixed income. If the choose to cut our benefit d, Increase co-pays, we are thrown to wolves.
My doctor, who is Hell on wheels, urged me to write everybody, stop the insanity. He has a max percentage of 30% Medicare. He looked me in the eye and told me, I don't make money seeing you, I do it to help you. He makes his money on private insurage clients, period. He knew a female doctor who allowed her Medicare to go to 50%. she is no longer in practice.

He told me to stay in practice he may have to go to a retainer, like a Attorney. He threw a number up like $ 2500, that we would have to pay to keep him as our doctor. I will find a way if needed, don't know how, but I can't be withought a doctor. There is much in this bill we don't know and considering it's "urgency" that scares me to death. He has already rammed down bills, saying the world was going to end unless we act mow. We cannot believe this man any longer.

He is as slick as they come. He has hidden agendas, I know it. I don't believe their is an honest bone in his body..

I guess my speaking out will put me on the hot list in the White House, and quite frankly my dear, I don't give a damn.
Also, by the way, I receieved one of the emails that Major Garrett from Fox News brought up, much to the dismay of Robert Gibbs. And remember, Gibbs told Grrett not to make faces, bullcrap. Garrett is an excelent reported and if Gibss realizes the Love Fest is over with the press, he may not be able to kep his job much longer, Big Loss.

The very fact hat the White House would establish a website for people to Rat on Americans speaking their mind, is almost like the Third Reich, you squeal on the patriots, making them a target.

Well, I though about going to Flag. com or whatever it is and turning myself in as an American Patriot, what are they going to do? call me in for an SSDI audit every month? Probably.
They think they hold the cards, but the American Public has the keys to the Kingdon. I hope in 2010, every one of the Obamamites are voted out and replaced by conservatives. I am pissed and scared at the same time. I wish my communities would quit having Obamagasms over VW coming to town and stand up.The Federal Government, State of Tennessee, Hamilton County and The City of Chattanooga paid dearly for Chattanooga to be "chosen".

I am going to read the entire bill, If I can stay awake long enough.Then there are the ammendments coming from both houses, with their own twist on this.

But I firmly believe, this is a Smoke Screen for something else to slip under the radar. I pray there is a Conservative out there watching the ignored little back door sessions. Let's say the cut Med D down to nothing, My wife and I are destroyed at the hands of our own government.

One last VERY Important Point , Glen Beck mentioned he had 8 million radio listeners, 3.5 million TV watchers and various othere groups that follow his blogs and such. He assigned us a solem charge, pick one czar, and using the internet, review and verify everything this person has ever done. Considering our President has already aoppointed a confimed Communist to over see the "Green" movement, what other little dirty secrets have we yet to discover.

Let's do this in a professional manner, put out facts in a reasonable order, and when we are ready, forward the info return reciept requested. This could be end of the maddness.

I have given you my opinion on cash for clunkers, there are a lot of seniors who have paid what they had to get a vehicle as nice as I have seen the mechanics gleefully dispose of. Even if the senior had a 1968 Comet and paid 500 for a 1991 Lincoln President that was in great shape. Destroy the Comet, not a vehicle that is a getting 19 MPG and is in great condition. Why not just trade the Lincoln for the comet even and destroy the Comet. I guess that would have been too simple. If the Government was going to spend $4500, why not help someone. The damn government owned the vehicle they destroyed, alot of Americans couple have been helped...

The Cash for Clunkers Program, Death by GOVT

Yesterday. My son Mark was interested in the Cash for Clunkers program and went vehicle shopping. They looked at some new vehicles and used as well. They had a 1996 Chevrolet 2 DR Tahoe, 5.7 litre V8, Type LT trim, Leather interior, Great looking and running vehicle. They did trade for 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4.7 litre V8, Very nice vehicle and after I checked all the NADA info this morning, they got a very good Deal. This WAS NOT under the clunker program because they traded for a used vehicle.

I had asked Mark to find out what happened to the clunker vehicles under the program. For some reason, it made since to me to take the really good vehicles, which the govt had just put $ 4500 in to and given to the dealer, to send the good ones to some type of lot where those of us who are on Social Security, fixed incomes, or just plain poor could pick up a great vehicle for say $ 1000 and the money go back to the govt. I don't mean vehicles that smoke, rattle or are a piece of junk, good older vehicles that could for instance help a 16 year old get their first car without breaking the bank..

When he returned, with his trade, he told me ALL vehicles ran thru the program would have the oil drained out and a mixture of metal shavings, silica, and other chemicals put into the engine and ran until it destroyed itself. This morning I went to You Tube and saw repeatedly some very nice vehicles destroyed on video. The mechanics who did this really got a kick out of blowing the engines.

I am not an enviromentalist, but on more than one occasion, the prooduct added to the engine blew all over the ground, clouds of noxious gases were produced. Where is the EPA in all of this ? The ground is contaminated. Let you or I spill a quart of used oil on the ground and all Hell breaks loose.

I had thought about the program some when introduced. My wife and I have a 1994 Jeep Cherokee, purchased new, that has and continues to be a great vehicle. I recently had to re-tag it this year and the required emissions tester at the State of Tennessee station could not believe that it had so low emissions, she stated that it was better than some new vehicles she tests.

Our Cherokee has served us well, the paint looks new, really. Most people cannot believe it is a 1994. Our credit is bad, due to the State of Tennessee killing a State run Healthcare plan called Tenncare, where everyone was insured. (Sound Familiar). After Tenncare was killed, we were left with no insurance, and before you think I had free Healthcare, I paid premiums every month, ranging from $ 65 to $ 358, depending on their whim at the time. You did not dare ask why, because when you asked a question, you had just made an appeal and set in moition another nightmare. You would recieve a letter saying that your Tenncare would not be terminated right now, until after the hearing, just for asking a simple question. And now Obama tells me they can do a better job than the Medicare I am on, of course with cuts.

Back to the Cherokee. I have spent the last 2 hours watching gleefull mechanics applying the Death sentence to some really nice vehicles. Like I said, not all are worth keeping, but some SSDI recepients with really bad vehicles would have been very happy to buy some of these on a government financing of saying $ 1000 and the Govt would have gotten a little money back, but not Obamaworld. That would be too simple.

I am going to keep my 1994 Cherokee as long as I can. My wife loves it and would break my fingers at the thought of getting rid of her baby. I can do minor repairs. Some very well qualified mechanics have told me that engine should go in excess of 300,000 miles easy. My 1998 Ranger XLT Extended cab 4wd is the same way, it looks like new and runs like new. I will keep it until the wheels fall off, and then,probably repair it and keep going.

The real reason for the clunker program was to give the card dealers and manufacturers a shot in the arm, not for the enviroment or to improve mileage. It was a scam to sell vehicles and I guess make the highways more attractive with shiny new vehicles, making us all think under Obama's guidance, we are doing much better. Alot of people are adding vehicle payments they can not afford. What bailout comes next when they can't make the payments and the lots are full of repos. Sounds familiar there too, just look at the foreclosures.

The American people are thought to be gullible by our leaders. Just jump out there and help America, go more in debt, like Biden said, "spend money, pay taxes, it's patriotic".

The Tax cofers will increase due to sales taxes, the owners of their more effecient vehicles will drive more, increasing gasoline demand. Gas prices will go up, and so goes the spiral.

When I see all these new owners zipping down the road in the lawn mower with a cab and seats, I am going to wave. I have cold air, a good ride, 2 great vehicles. Being an old car guy, the destruction on video of some fine vehicles really bothers me. Something else could have been done. Another solution, if you saw an 70 year old woman driving her 1968 Buick to the store, she would have been very happy to have a 2001 Crown Victoria given to her with a working Air Conditioner.

This could have been a great idea, as usual, the gov't couldn't think it through and take the easy way out, The Crusher

Been Lost in the Haze !!!

I gotta tell you, MS has 1 symptom that is driving me nuts. Since 2005 I have had these Semi-Concious states where, you are just out. I can't remember crap, seriously.. I can't tell you what I did last friday. I was watching some of the kids and they said I fell in the hallway. I guess thats right, I am sore all over. Yesterday, went to one of the grandkids birthday parties out at Signal Mtn Golf Course, I don't think I got hot and remember it. Came home, was sitting on the back porch with Deanna, PeeWee and Tony. We decided to go into the living room. I sat down in the recliner and more or less just passed out. They left, I couldn't really communicate, Deanna said. I woke up at 7 and thought it was morning, made coffee, Deanna was stretched out across the bed asleep, exhausted. I woke her up thinking it was time to get up. Finally got my senses about me. Woke up this morning and thought it was Monday, until I kept wondering why the weekend Fox News crew was on.

The Neuro just looks at me when I tell him this stuff last week. It's normal I guess, Hell , I don't know anything anymore.

He tried to send me to pain management, they called last Monday and said I had an appt for tues. Of course, I did not remember crap about it and told the very nice lady I had been down that road once and had no intentions of going thru the hell of counting pills every day.

The one victim in all this is Deanna, I love her so much and all this is killing her.

Anyway, I know by now this Sunday, yep, thats right, I think.

It's Saturday, a beautiful day here on Signal Mountain, High of 81. That means MS Mitch can get out and enjoy the weather.

I have thought alot about what to do about the upcoming Healthcare destruction, my Doctor's feelings about it, and opinion from my Darling life Deanna.

I am going to devote all my efforts writing every Senator in the United States. It may not do any good, but there has to be voices to their ears. They are not Royalty, regardless of how Obama and his Lady think of themselves.

We are not Serf's waiting on the generosity of a carriage passing by on a dirt road throwing out a damn chicken bone. We are AMERICANS, still, and we must show these people we are not Sheep to lead.

I wish everyone would bombard these Senators with Email, every day, every hour, telling them they are not above us, in any way. We must stop the 1100 Page bill that no-one except the CZAR's have read.

My wife and I just left our Doctor today, who is a fine gentleman, who accepts Medicare.

He unloaded because he knows my standing on the Obama Care,

I want him to be sucessfull, He is a great doctor and deserves the best.
He told me he is not living the life of leisure, most Doctors as expected,he works hard and has a Heart as big as the building.

We got off on the changes that Obamacare (OC) would do.

Well, first of all, he advised me that he really doesn't see Medicare patients to make money.
 He knows another Doctor who is running about 55% Medicare patients.

She operates in the RED,until July,She is going out of business,
 she can't make it. He has to keep his Medicare patients on Medicare about 30%.

He said the conferences he has attended that OC group has held is suggesting

that Social Scurity Patients hire their Doctor every year
 in a retainer type situation, like an attorney, somewhere about $ 2500.

Well, I would like to know where the Hell the OPC expects us Wealthy
SSDI patients pull $ 2500 out of our butts in the first place.

I know you are thinking, well, he can afford Comcast Internet,,Cable and Phone.

Let me tell you ow, If not for Fox news, Boortz, Rush, Sean,
and other that you can only get by paying for access,

I would be a Ostrich in the sand.

My wife hit the infamous Donut Hole in June, luckily, I think I may make it,

thanks to the generousity of Pfizer and other manufacturers.

Independence Day at the Thurmer Household

We had a great 4th. Family arrived and we had he usual BBQ, various deserts, and I ate too much. It was nice to see everyone and all was well.

I could not keep from thinking about what the original signers of the Declaration of Independence went through. Their lives were in danger, their families were at great risk.
Their signatures Id'd them as rebels. Alot of Americans still did not support breaking from Mother England.

Today, Everything they fought for is at risk. The Obama administration is charging headlong toward socialism, period. Government takeover of private business, intrusion into everyday life. It is like the movie 1984 was the study paperwork for the Obama plan.

He is on TV everyday, announcing some new program, policy, spending plan, something. Even some of the deepest liberals are talking in groups about his fascination with public appearance.

I am sure, readers of my blog keep thinking, why is a MS titled blog so political. I will tell you why. Being disabled, On SSDI, MEDICARE, and other Govt programs, my life is controlled by politics and the whims of Obama for CHANGE.

I am very excited that Sarah Palin is coming to work in the lower 48. she is going to wake up the nation, a voice for conservatism. I hope that Rush, Neal, Sean, Glenn and the other Talk Radio Leaders, will embrace this woman and put her to work, with their guidance.

Come on everybody, lets get the Conservatives rolling, lets help them all we can.

Keep the Porch lite on folks, America needs to find the way home. By the way, I used the old fashion lighbulbs to light that porch.....

Smoking, It's all about Money

Today, Commisar Obama signed into law changes in the cigarette business. Alright, lets put a pencil to all this.
First, he wants to lower the tar and nicotene in cigarettes, Now keep in mind taxes have gone up and will go up more. If you, like I smoke, you have an addiciton to tar and nicotene. When the level is lowered, guess what, you will smoke some more to feed your habit, therefore the government will recieve more funds in taxes due to our increased usage, The deficit that seem to be never ending will recevie increased income, helping to play for the "projects" Obama has proposed. Yes, a percentage will quit, somehow, but the others will find a way to pay.
Think about it, if all smokers laid then down tomorow, the government would go into a depression like never before, They depend on us, we keep the economy afloat, on our lungs.

This is another Obama scam, to pressure SIN tax on us, weither it be smoking, dipping, or chewing. Imagine the Cancer industry if everyone quit, the doctors would have to change to proctology.
They are counting on the inability to quit to fill the coffers.

I am going to try again, just to spite Obama and his wizards, I may get crazy it will be worth it.,
